L'Oreal Beauty Tubes Mascara - sad lack of

I'm bereft Sad
I noticed it was getting harder to find LBT mascara for a while and now it seems to have been discontinued.
I've been using this for years and it's been the best mascara I've ever tried.

Tubing, so it doesn't smudge at all but comes off easily in warm water. Much easier to remove completely than ones you need eye makeup remover for.

As well as it staying in place and ease of removal, it did a brilliant job of giving me amazing lashes. It's the only mascara that's caused people to ask if I'm wearing false eyelashes. Other tubing mascaras just don't have that sort of effect on me.
I know a natural look has its place but I miss the fabulous lashes LBT gave me.
It had one side that coated lashes with a cream-coloured primer and a second that covered that with black mascara.

I've tried a few others: a couple of L'Oreal ones (which I bought), both with 2 brushes, as that's what LBT had so thought they might be similar, but have been clumpy and a pain to get off (despite smudging easily); Clinique High Rise (I think) and Eyeko, (both from beauty boxes) both of which were okay, but nothing special.

I'd be very grateful for any recommendations - thank you!

@YappyCamper thanks for that! You've saved me £30.

I just found this thread while googling about l'oreal mascara and wanted to say I found it on iHerb. Says they have over 100 tubes in stock, so if anyone hasn't given up and found a better alternative, it's time to stock up!

LaMarschallin · 04/08/2023 10:19

Ooh, thank you!
I'll investigate - I'm still mourning it

Brief update...
The main thing I like about tubing mascara is the way it comes off easily with warm water, so I don't have to scrub too hard with eye makeup remover.
I've found that if I put on a layer of the No.7 tubing mascara followed by another more thickening &/or lengthening one (using a L'Oreal two step one at present) I get decent looking lashes and then the whole lot comes off with warm water.
It's no good for those who like tubing ones because they don't smudge, but it's working pretty well for me.
It BT ever comes back, I'll return to it like a shot though.

It’s on Amazon , says 15 left in stock

LaMarschallin · 16/10/2023 21:59

Butterflybluepink

Only 14 by the time I got there.
Bought a couple though, so really pleased, thanks.
Still relieved I have a plan B (as above) as it's proving harder to get.

Morning.
I have the same issue and am struggling to find a good replacement. I randomly just searched for it and some stock has come up on Amazon. They're £15 each and only a few available. I've just bought 3 of them to keep me going haha!

GirlInParis · 08/12/2024 20:39

I'm back everyone! Just to say I was just in a CVS in Northern California and it was fully in stock. Did they bring it back?

pharmachameleon · 09/12/2024 07:32

I think you can get it in the US but as far as I know we can't get it in the UK unfortunately.

This one? I've ordered from this site before here's postage but order a couple and it makes it worth it.

I loved beauty tubes but now use Heimish Dailism. Good lengthening and thickening and super easy to remove. Also not too expensive. I’ve tried LBT, the maybelline one (loved the lashes, found it a bit smudgey and hard to remove), no 7 (more of a daytime effect for me, not great to remove), Clinique (bit flakey, hard to remove). I only switched from LBT in the first place as I found it a bit of a pain to apply the 2 ends - the base then the colour.

heimish - Dailism Smudege Stop Mascara Black Curling - 9g

Heimish Dailism Smudge Stop Mascara is a smudge-free mascara that lifts up eyelashes without clumping. Lift and thicken every single lash without weighing it down.

I really rate Maybelline Sky High, doesn't shift and you remove it with warm water .
