Bikini as underwear ?

I am fed up of not getting in the water when wearing the wrong underwear- boys just strip to their pants, but we can't !Would it be mad to buy a few bikinis and wear them as underwear ? Any brands people like that are a) like a proper bra top and b) not such sweaty material that you would feel really uncomfortable and c) not priced like Rigby and peller ? Or is it a terrible idea ?....

AH I may well have been overthinking the entire thing - must remember not to go to a PTA meeting after swimming - thanks for your help and will be looking at freya and crop tops !

I found the solution - I didn't realise you could buy board shorts for women -think bikini bottoms but with sort of shorts over the top. Worn with a sports bra type top as you all suggested - it works brilliantly - thank you all !!

I do this on holiday i get pretty decent bikinis from pour moi in the sale - they have cup sizes etc and wear them on Holiday as a bra and pants when were out sight seeing .So if we end up at a nice swim spot I can join in. Sorted !

Wouldn't it be easier to buy pants and bra top that look more bikini like?

Boy short pants and matching crop top style.

My untrimmed bikini line would be a more pressing matter for me.

Decathlon do some great swimwear type shorts (think they are for paddle boarding!) Which are absolutely fine to wear as normal wear but are really quick drying.
