clarins make up remover didnt work?

SpacePuppy · 21/02/2008 20:55

depends if its waterproof mascara it is a pain, I use nivea visage extra gentle eye make-up remover. on a cotton ball, wipes it all off, afterwards I clean the corners with a cotton bud.

TheBlonde · 22/02/2008 08:42

not tried clarins but fed up of spending money on eye make up remover that leaves me with makeup there the next day

mascara doesn't need to be waterproof

i dont use waterproof mascara anymore because of this...

smugmumofboys · 22/02/2008 12:37

The blue Clarins one is great. I wear contacts and it is even fine with those.

Katiekitty · 22/02/2008 13:06

Well, I couldn't live without Body Shop Cammomile eye make up remover. I've used it for years and nothing has ever come close to being as good. And, I wear enough eye make up to put a Blackpool drag queen in the shade.
It is superb! I beeseech you to give it a try!

Tutter · 22/02/2008 13:09

i manage without

use neutrogena face wipes - they take everything off

carmenelectra · 22/02/2008 13:09

I use the Boots NO7 one. Its really good, shake it to mix the oil in it so good for waterproof makeup. I wear about 5 coats of mascara and it shifts mine

carmenelectra · 22/02/2008 13:10

Think its about 6-7 pounds and lasts well.

carmenelectra · 22/02/2008 13:18

Oh God yes, i didnt read properly! Dope

carmenelectra · 22/02/2008 13:21

I like Bourjois and Maybelline. The ones with white primer on one end. Dont really smudge.

The worst smudger in the world iS Benefit BAD GAL lash. Will never buy it again. Im only still using cos it cost 16 QUID!

Tutter · 22/02/2008 13:21

clinique naturally glossy

what an odd way to approach it though

TheBlonde · 22/02/2008 13:56

maybe I am just inept at using eye make up remover or my lashes cling to the stuff?

newgirl · 22/02/2008 14:00

katiekittie - i agree

body shop camomile is the best - not greasy and removes any make up

susiemj · 22/02/2008 14:00

the best one i ever have had is the boots botanics. it shifts everything. and it's dead cheap. bonus.

JerryErnie · 22/02/2008 14:45

I use baby lotion!

pukkapatch · 22/02/2008 17:53

babywipes. but if ind the best are the johnsons makeup removal pads.

pickie · 22/02/2008 17:58

baby lotion too or babywipes!

multitasker · 22/02/2008 18:07

Rimmel Extra lash is great and its priced reasonably. For a good remover I would recommend the Champneys one in Sainsburys.

LilOrphanAnnie · 22/02/2008 18:09

Lancome definicils mascara, babywipes or olay face wipes to take it off!

scottishmummy · 22/02/2008 18:12

i use lancome flextencils or Borjouis mascara.to remove baby oil - works well or clarins cleanser

Mymeems · 22/02/2008 18:13

I'd agree with any of the Lancome mascaras but also think the boots botanic eye make up remover is pretty fab
