Why don’t my legs tan?

I’ve been away for a few weeks now, mainly in sunny warm countries. I’ve had to wear f50 on my shoulders and top half but definitely still quite tanned. Yet my legs stay white. They don’t burn, I don’t need to use sun cream. I’ve work shorts for days and been in the sun.

When I was younger they used to tan, albeit slowly, but now they stay white even if I use fake tan on them! I have chubby legs which are not toned and I know they would look better with a tan (happy for that to be an artificial one!) Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm also in the "pale and interesting" club when it comes to legs, I feel your pain sisters.

Can anyone recommend me a good fake tan for really pale skin? I've a wedding to attend and have just realised I can't do tights due to the sandals I'm wearing (toe post style).

Bondi Sands gradual tanning mousse is literally the only one that works on me. It is very gradual so take a few days of application to get a noticeable colour but it doesn’t streak or stain and gives you the flexibility to go as dark as you want.

My legs used to stay white, then spent a few weeks in the Caribbean and they went brown, it was like a kick start as now they go brown. Only on the front though😂

Mine have only tanned since I stopped waxing and lasered the hair off.
Also, like thenew, running in shorts from early spring helps.
My legs are no longer milk bottle white, more of a pale rich tea colour. Digestive biscuit shade is probably going to be a stretch too far.

Fake tan all the way! Because any natural tan is just skin damage, which in turn can lead to skin cancer. No such thing as a healthy tan unfortunately- unless it's a fake one out of a bottle.
