LED light therapy for rosacea

Has anyone tried this for rosacea ? I went to a salon who recommended 12 sessions to reduce the reactivity of my skin (I have other sling problems too). It's £50 a go so I need to see progress.

I would say it depends what type of rosacea you have. I have type 2 with pustules and redness so needed ivermectin to get rid of the demodex mites a laser wouldn't get rid of them.

I tried soolantra and it did nothing.

I'm not finding any change 5 sessions in!

I saw a dermatologist about a year ago. I still had rosacea then and I asked about LED light masks because I saw several people mentioning them online here and there, including a dermatologist that had her own brand named after her which should have been a hint. I was there for something other than the rosacea tbh but she said LED lights are nonsense and there isn't a single medical article published about them, so I assume that goes for rosacea too. She said it was nonsense like those glasses that supposedly protect from blue light.
I'm not sure whether something's changed though so take info with a pinch of salt.
Having said that, I think Soolantra has Ivermectin in it, like a pp mentioned, which I took for something else and it did nothing to my rosacea too. Ask your GP for an antibiotic for it, that's what got rid of mine. Mine was basically just bright red without the pustules.

I have taken antibiotics for it and it goes away but then comes back.

Interesting that you were told that about LED light. I will do more research online as I had read a lot of positive reviews.

I have also tried soolantra which did nothing at all.

I posted on another threat. I "cured" mine by accident. I wasn't looking to cure or even treat it. I had a nasty respiratory infection and had to try different antibiotics. One of them cured it on the second day. It really was by accident. It was an antibiotic I'd never taken before so I'd ask a dermatologist and try something else. I cured mine two months ago give or take, it hasn't come back but we'll see how it holds by the end of the year.
I saw a bunch of things about those masks and it's like everybody was writing about them so I was curious too. Even more because I saw a dermatologist saying how she was wore it every single day or whatever as part of her skincare routine I'm an idiot because it was her mask.
But the dermatologist I saw kind of laughed in my face...

Forgot to add that obviously I'm not sure whether LED light lasers use exactly the same technology as those masks. So take it with a pinch of salt!

*always wore not was obviously
