Serum or treatment for sun-damaged chest/decollete skin?

For context, I'm fairly pale and have to cover up in the sun or I burn. Last summer I was wearing these t-shirts that had a scoop neck and even though I applied sunscreen etc., gradually sun damage must have built up on that area because even during winter the texture was worse and there was redness and sun damage. You can tell it's sun damage because there's a line like a tan line where the top covered and where it didn't.

Yesterday I got caught out by the sun walking back from somewhere and suddenly that exact area looks red and damaged again. It's like it never really healed. I did have factor 50 on but clearly that's not enough on the chest area that already has damaged skin.

Short of only buying high neck tops from now on, is there any serum or moisturiser that might heal this area? Or even a treatment?

It's so weird that it's still this way eight months on.

Thanks.

Retin A is good for sun damage. A non-prescription retinol product can help but much more slowly.

I got 3rd degree damage to that area and I received some Prai neck cream in M&S beauty boxes and was delighted that it improved my skin there no end

My skin burnt and peeled badly and really aged quicker than everywhere else over the years in a specific triangle shape. It's gone now and lovely, smooth and elastic normal skin again which I never ever thought would happen

If you're interested in treatments, you might want to look at Fraxel. I had some some sun damage on my face (freckles, sun spots), and had one all-over treatment and then another one to target the dark spots on their own. It has really improved the overall look. But if you have a good aesthetic clinic nearby (and by good I mean medically trained, accredited, etc, not just a bog standard beauty salon), book an appointment to go and chat through the options with one of the practitioners. Any good clinic will lay out the choices to you with no pressure and realistic info about what sort of improvement you can expect.
