Struggling to find something I like! I like this, but worry it’s more a September colour?

I saw this pop up on another site, if you like halter, it's a bit more summer wedding guest

It comes in navy, too, which looks very chic and would look fab with lighter accessories for a summer wedding, blush pink or pale gold maybe?

I do like halter a lot, but I’m struggling to find anything! I like Bardot style also.

I quite like this but worried the fabric would cling to my stomach!

Yes it will cling. Honestly at 5 months pregnant just get a maternity dress and embrace the bump!

FabFitFifties · 18/05/2023 20:11

The curve sage green Quiz one's got to be worth a try?

Doggymummar · 18/05/2023 20:13

For a barn wouldn't you want thick clothing? I've only been to one and it was Scottish themed and were told to wear denim as we would be sitting on hay bales. They hD A Ceilidh and country dancing too. Food was haggis and tatties. The men wore kilts and the ladies wore denim. The bride was in a thick emerald green velvet dress. Such fun.

Gooseysgirl · 18/05/2023 20:23

Maternity dress all the way! Definitely look on vinted - some great bargains to be had!

CindersAgain · 18/05/2023 20:30

You don’t need pastel. Do wear a colour you like.

Strawberrydelight78 · 18/05/2023 21:12

Something knee length and with a pattern in would be nice. If your pregnant you will be more in something loose fitting if it's a hot sunny day. I really struggled with the heat with both my pregnancies. Lived in dresses and leggings.

Jacopo · 18/05/2023 21:17

This is your chance to embrace something comfortable that you can relax in, because why not enjoy yourself before you get busy with the new baby! Something floaty and soft. Which is also more fashionable anyway than the bodycon stuff.
also I’m a big fan of pink/coral/red with red hair!

Its a converted barn, defo will have chairs!

This is gorgeous and appropriate for a summer daytime wedding.

Op, everything you are posting is completely inappropriate. Super tight and short, or a slit up to the belly button, or to see through and risqué perfect for the club scene at 2 in the morning.

I don’t understand what your goal is. Is it to attend a wedding where the spotlight will be on the bride or to make people look at you and wonder what the h you’re doing wearing such an inappropriate dress.

It’s not hard to pick out a suitable dress, people are trying to help you but you don’t get it.

It’s the bride’s daytime wedding, not night out at the club.

MysteryBelle · 18/05/2023 22:11

Op, please forgive me. You’ve posted a lovely green dress just now that is appropriate, I must be in a bad mood today. I’m sorry!!!

Jacopo · 18/05/2023 22:14

I agree, the ASOS green one is perfect. Take a wrap too in case it’s suddenly cooler weather. Have a lovely day.

That green one is lovely. Good find

Gooseysgirl · 19/05/2023 00:43

The green one is perfect!

Verigio · 18/05/2023 14:41

Thanks all. I did think it probably wasn’t appropriate. It’s a barn wedding, full day, so will keep looking.

I will be 5 months pregnant and haven’t lost the baby weight from my first born so none of my dresses fit and I’m having a bit of a crisis! I had a lovely dress ready to go but it doesn’t fit 😭

You won't for a bump in that dress... Have you lived at maternity dresses?

SleepingStandingUp · 19/05/2023 00:48

Just saw your last pick, perfect

BitOutOfPractice · 19/05/2023 00:51

Love the ASOS one

Forgottenmypasswordagain · 19/05/2023 04:40
