Clothes similar to what Bravissimo did

Is there any clothing brand out there similar to the clothing Bravissimo used to do?

I'm struggling to find nice clothing I like thats not in the hundreds. I am a E cup and find many clothing tops doesn't cope well with this or I end up looking gigantic.

I've had some success with unlimited but I'm not a fan of black and 2/3 of their clothing is or had black on it.

I do not like white stuff fat face or Hush before they get suggested.

Ps please do not suggest wrap tops/dresses as a solution I find them quote the opposite.

I'm an E/F cup, but don't particularly have issues dressing myself. What sort of tops are you having issue with? And what style do you like?

I don't particularly wear shirts or large collars, as yes they can be problematic. But I usually find fitted scoop neck tshirts are flattering and crew neck jumpers. I buy a lot from Uniqlo, but I like the simple, block colour style they have.

@Enko. i totally agree about wrap dresses . They just gape on me . I went to a wedding in a wrap dress and the guy opposite me got a right eyeful all through the wedding breakfast !

Pandorapitstop · 18/05/2023 10:24

Try fairlie curved.

Darkroot · 18/05/2023 10:25

Pour moi seem to have quite a few clothing options now.

SirVixofVixHall · 18/05/2023 10:32

There used to be a great Polish brand, called dd atelier, but they folded before the pandemic. As did a UK website St Bustier, that didn’t make clothes for larger cup sizes, but sold clothes from a variety of brands that worked up an H cup. I haven’t seen anything similar, sadly.
I feel the same about wrap dresses, I have to size up and then wear a colourful camisole or slip underneath, or half my bust is on show !
So I have no helpful advice at all I am sorry.

I like the classic style hence I mentioned Bravissimo. I dislike Uniqlo intently anything from there I put on and I like a Size 230. Not the look I am after.

I like brands like White Company Sahara London and Maxmara Weekend LK Bennett

I dont wear T shirts and I am in need of business like for work. I'd also like some clothing I find comfortable for not working. Crew necks are fine but a bit boring imo.

That's the exact issue.

Fairlie curved is not my style at all. I do like some of Pour Moi stuff

Dd says my.style is soft but tailored.

I feel your pain- all my best clothes are bravissimo !!

Crikeyalmighty · 18/05/2023 12:00

Strangely though wrap dresses look good on me. But often with a cami underneath

ToBeOrNotToBee · 18/05/2023 12:04

Pour Moi

And bizarrely Very own brand seems to fit me like a glove.

I'm a 36G.

IAteAllTheTomatoes · 18/05/2023 12:33

Following with interest....really miss Pepperberry, especially for work clothes.

CMOTDibbler · 18/05/2023 12:37

Bombshell HQ is a great fit if you are hourglass full busted. One of our VPs was wearing their dresses at a conference this weekend and she looked great without revealing too much

Darkroot · 18/05/2023 12:43

@ToBeOrNotToBee yes to Very own brand! Surprisingly flattering

ThreeFeetTall · 18/05/2023 12:48

I buy it on Vinted. Once you've found a brand/fit that suits you it's annoying to have to find another.

AngelsWithSilverWings · 18/05/2023 14:15

I used to wear tons of bravissimo/pepperberry before I had my breast reduction. I was a 34GG before surgery and am now a 34E which suits me much better.

I no longer have an issue buying clothes as an E cup but still try to buy the styles that I know work for me. I tend to wear more fitted styles.

I also struggle with Hush - everything seems a bit too baggy and relaxed - I need more structure

Recently I've worn smart v neck jersey fit and flare style dresses from Wallis or Roman in a aize 12 ( occasionally a 14 as Roman sizing can be a bit hit and miss) . In the winter I like the Becca jumper dresses from Phase 8 but I size down to stop them being too blousy. I've also worn Gina Bacconi shift dresses for special events but seem to sit btw a 12 or a 14 depending on the dress or how my dieting is going because I am not very slim on the waist sadly ( apple shaped) Bust size not a problem.

Don't have a problem with Next - can wear their size 12 blouses without them gaping and their linen shift dresses are a must for me in the summer - I have loads of those as I tend to buy a couple of new ones each summer and even have a size 10 and a 12 in the same colour just to accommodate fluctuations in my weight.

Grumpyfroghats · 18/05/2023 14:17

I recently discovered Ro and Zo and quite like the things I got from there.

Username84 · 18/05/2023 15:02

Left field obviously but I found a lot of my maternity and nursing gear still fit beautifully after because it is cut for a bigger breast size than average. There are a few brands that do stuff that isn't obviously maternity or nursing (hatch, seraphine, etc.). The option is finding your friendly neighborhood tailor and getting things altered. Often cheaper than going for a speciality brand.

MachinesOfGod · 18/05/2023 15:06

I’m a 30FF and don’t tend to find any issue with normal sized 10 clothes in generic shops.

I do like Manners London for support and going braless though.

Enko · 18/05/2023 15:30

I'm a size 16 so not as skinny as many of you posting here.

I work with OAPs so I need to dress conservatively. (we had a complaint about a Hobbs dress that reaches just above the knees!)

I am finding the style at the moment is very casual/relaxed and I dont like it. I prefer a bit more style to the clothing (In cut and tailoring) Bravissimo used to do that nicely IMO.

OP posts:
Yetisrus · 18/05/2023 22:14

Sadly there isn't anywhere like Bravissimo, the thing I liked about Bravissimo was that not everything was made out of jersey. I've got some lovely dresses that flatter because they're fitted and don't accentuate my rolls of fat as they're not jersey.

Fat Face is quite generous in the bust area I've found. Some of their dresses could be dressed up to look smart too.

Enko · 18/05/2023 23:08

@Yetisrus I agree that part of the appeal of Bravisimmo's clothing was it was not all jersey.

I loved how some of the tops had elastic in the side so they fitted well against you but also flattered without making it tight and look as if you are cut in half.

I dislike Fatface style very rarely I find anything in there I like.
