what do I wear for a job interview with the company MD over lunch!

one of the agencies I'm registered with has come back with a very promising job prospect but the interview seems a little non standard. there is no job spec. the MD thinks my skills are a perfect match for him company apparently (and to be fair they are!) and has sheduled an interview over lunch.

what do I wear! its a mans world in the coatings industry so I usually wear a super conservitive black skirt suit.

so I was thinking of either

black trouser suit with a red v necked jumper underneath.(i'm very curvy so I have to be carefull with blouse buttons and necklines etc)

or smart light brown trousers and a brown pull on blouse. trouble is my smart coat is grey...

Go for the black and red, but maybe with a red camisole underneath?

I mean a black camisole.

Because black on red would look fine with a grey coat - not so much the brown.

I'd wear the brown if the interveiwer was a woman, tbh, but not a man.

Red and black - be colourful and make an impression.

Make sure you have the right sort of bra on as well in case you want to take your jacket off

don't stress over what to wear, unless you might consider a tutu and wellies to be appropriate, given he knows you already, it's relatively unimportant.

well it was a funny one! I didn't actually get any lunch as we were too busy talking shop to go out to the pub! the buildings were being reburbished and it was freezing! so I didn't actually take my coat off!! don't think it mattered too much what I wore in the end.....
