Crap week demands a new hair style

Right I have had the shittiest of all shitty weeks.
Thus I need a new look.
therein lies the problem.
I have just on the shoulder peach hair (previous home dying disaster, will be rectified) and am hoping for blonde of sorts, it is very fine, there is lots of it and is dead straight.
Id love a fringe but dh thinks they make me look educationally retarded(his words) but perhaps i cuold get away with a side swept fringe or is that just for 14 year olds?
I alos wear glasses, nhs black oblong style ones.
I want to look like ive speant some time on me, like I care about my appearence which i do just there are other things in life I have to care about more.

How about a 'half' fringe? Just a few strands of shorter hair - used to be v fashionable in the late 80's. I havea really thick chunky fringe which i hate but I can't be bothered to grow it out.

Follow the trendsetter, Morningpaper has got a lovely mullet. She's written a post saying how much she loves it.

i think you have to be careful with fringes and specs
you need hair away from the face otherwise you can't see any features, and risk looking a bit Velma from scooby doo
i've got a noughties mullet myself and very versatile and easy to wear it is too

cocolepew · 18/02/2008 18:44

Lol, you must be joking. I can't even post tonight without it coming up twice! Sorry, I'm crap at that

SEE!!! Stupid computer.

iMum · 18/02/2008 18:45

I have no idea what a naughties mullet is, but am intrigued?
As for looking like velma it has got to be better than looking like a peach with split ends.

sorta thing, marginally less silly
mullet

iMum · 18/02/2008 18:51

That is very trendy, would love to look like that buttttttt will instead look like worsle gumidge (sp?)
the pressure of having a new style is huge-(not really but ykwim)
want to look fab and not frumpy, glam not grumpy and about 10 yearsd and 2 dress sizes off as well would be nice?
doable? lmao
