Complete overhaul needed

I'd really appreciate help with a complete overhaul of skincare, makeup & hair. After a difficult pregnancy, I feel like I've aged 10 years (34 next month) & (if I'm being honest) feel like a complete embarrassment.

I have combination skin that's prone to breakouts. Very pale, skin is currently dull and grey & starting to get a big saggy/jowly. Couple of forehead wrinkles starting to creep in.

I normally just wear foundation/BB cream & mascara. Feel like I need to start wearing a bit more/doing a bit more with myself but I'm not great with makeup & generally have no idea what I'm doing.

Hair is currently to the middle of my back - very thick, wavy/frizzy & a bit straggly. I'm planning on getting it shorter but worried it'll end up looking a bit triangular.

Can anyone recommend a foolproof skincare & makeup routine? I've been looking into skin+me & dermatica but not sure how they work. What else do you have to use with them? Or if it better to get separate things? I honestly have absolutely no idea what I'm doing!

(& for full transparency - I don't get enough sleep but with a 3 month old there's not much I can do about that & I'm trying to make sure I drink more water)

Whatever else you do you should wear a good spf on your face everyday.
I like Revolution sun shimmer spf50 only £7 at Debenhams. It's a bit like a tinted moisturiser.

Have a good cleansing and exfoliating regime. I like Simple purifying cleansing lotion followed by Clinique clarifying lotion no2.

I apply a good serum (mine's Clinique but you can spend less) containing hyaluronic acid (holds onto moisture) and retinol (anti ageing) under my Revolution spf50.

If you use anything with retinol in you should always use spf50 on top.

At night do the same cleansing regime but apply your serum then an anti ageing night cream suitable for your age group eg I like Boots no7 protect & perfect.

My skin is combination, more oily, and can breakout. I'm 46 but I'm lucky have very few lines. At present.

Dermatica is good for me. You need to buy cleanser, moisturiser and SPF in addition to the actives they send but it works out ok financially because you get a lot in one product. I think I have a referral code if you want to try it.

What about trying the Curly Girl method for your hair? Pretty low-maintenance but I’ve seen it work fantastically for friends with wavy/frizzy hair.

Maybe book a couple of makeup counter appointments for different brands? Then you can try out a new look and new products. Don’t buy on the day but it’ll give you options to think about.

Regarding makeup I like a bit of primer on my tzone (chin, nose & forehead) to dispel shine, my usual primer has been discontinued so I'm about to try a new one by Revolution.
I use a bit of Clinique clinical foundation (good for oily skin) in places where it's needed but not all over as my cheeks and forehead don't need it, so the key is to blend well.
For foundation & concealer I recommend going to a counter to get a good match. I really need to get a good concealer.
I don't use powder as a good primer is more modern, does the job of anti shine and can be reapplied.
Regards eye makeup, a basic Nudes palette of eyeshadow is nice to use. I like Urban Decay palettes.

I also use their darkest shades of shadow as an eyeliner on my top lid as I find actual liner hard to apply personally.
Then I use a couple of coats of black mascara.
A bit of well blended blusher, a touch of highlighter, some lipgloss or lipstick & that's it.

Oh yes & eyebrows. If your eyebrows are good naturally you're really lucky. Just pluck any stray hairs but don't overpluck as thicker brows are nicer, and apply some brow gel. They will frame your face.
I have to draw mjne in as I'm so blonde.
Thinking of getting them and also my lashes tinted as it's a right nuisance.
