Comfortable thongs --> do they exist?!

Just that really.

I'm so so so sick of constantly having a VPL - even using the supposed "no VPL" pants.

Please do tell me if you've found some things that are truly comfortable.

Thanks so much in advance.

No. They are inherently really uncomfortable! That's my personal opinion. I'm sure there will be posters who find them super comfy. Personally I'd rather go knickerless than wear a thong.
How about bigger pants? Like shorts?

WhereAreWeNow · 02/05/2023 16:55

Also, I recommend sizing up for pants to make sure they don't cut in.

EatTheDamnCake · 02/05/2023 17:01

Watching with interest!

The closest I got was control thongs from M&S. Really comfy when they go on, but they get uncomfortable as I walk around.

CamsPaisleyCuffs · 02/05/2023 17:01

I think you either find the comfortable or you don't. I only wear thongs/g strings. I can't stand normal bikini briefs or shorts. They always end up in between my cheeks regardless of the size get so the less fabric on the arse area the better as far as I'm concerned.

They’re uncomfortable and so unhygienic. VPL pants work in the right size.

m&s have great ones.

EatTheDamnCake · 02/05/2023 17:12

I find that control shorts work for no vpl, but my god they are ugly 😂. But then a recurrent yeast infection doesn't sound great either.

pecanpie101 · 02/05/2023 17:24

Size up one or two sizes!
This made such a difference for me.

Agree, on both posts.

MissBPotter · 02/05/2023 17:31

I find them fine! Agree on sizing up though. Can’t bear too small kickers or things. Also I think if knickers fit you (ie size up), you’re less likely to have vpl…. I know if they cut in to me they show through dresses way more.

RampantIvy · 02/05/2023 17:31

Am I the only one who isn't concerned about a VPL?

Nah, nor me. At least everyone knows I'm wearing knickers...

BigMacExtraPickles · 02/05/2023 17:36

Thanks for your replies!! Keen to hear as many opinions as possible.

Knickerless would never be an option for me sadly due to discharge! Especially at certain times of my cycle 🤮

I do have the M&S no VPL ones and I wear a size 10 trouser and have size 12 pants so have followed the size up rule but I still get the line 😭😭

Exactly this

Am just about to go to a fitness class so when I put my leggings on I had a look in the mirror and could see no VPL. I am wearing these M and S knickers

They are also the most comfortable pants I have ever worn.

Ooooh I'm going to try these!!!!!

Thank you!!!

@RampantIvy only comfort counts! I'm sitting here in cotton midi knickers from a 5 pack that cost less and are comfortable in the heat (it's 28 degrees, needless to say I'm on holiday Grin) dp thankfully gets comfort over looks

Findyourneutralspace · 02/05/2023 18:09

You still get VPL with a thong though - it’s just higher up.

Xrays · 02/05/2023 18:11

Just wear massive full briefs or m and s high rise shorts- they sit in the crease of your bum / top of your leg so you don’t have a line across your buttocks. I’d never wear thongs ever again. Ouch…!!

safetyzone · 02/05/2023 19:55

Not normally a thong fan but skims ones are the comfiest I've ever tried. If you don't mind buying from Kim K.
