Hello,

After years of being a 'foaming facewash and water' skincare kind of girl, I have recently decided to try and implement a skin care routine to look after my skin.

My skin can be a bit sensitive and prone to dryness, so after lots of research i bought The Inkey List Oat Cleanser, Hyrulonic Acid, Peptide Moisturiser and SPF.

I am using it morning and night and my skin is looking better.
However I feel like my skin is slightly drier than usual and would like to add another product to give my skin some hydration - I was thinking perhaps a serum? Any recommendations?
Or, should I be using something different that could give my skin more moisture?
I don't mind paying up to about £30 for something that might make my skin feel less tight and dry.

Thank you!

hi , i use Medik 8 , they have amazing products

i use vitamin C serum , followed by glycolic acid seem then deeply moisturising cream with SPF

night routine is retinol serum followed by restoring night cream

i hope it helps

also Hydrofacials once a month or once every 2 months will make your skin glowing ...

Thanks @MissJD, I wonder if a Vitamin C serum might be just the thing?
If i’m already using hyrolonic acid I don’t want to overdo it.

I have also bought retinol and a retinol eye cream but haven’t used it yet, I wanted to let my routine get settled in before adding in too many new products at once!

vitamin C is great ! but make sure you use SPF during day time , it's the most important

Hyaluronic acid is a hydrating serum. Are you using it on damp skin? It draws water to it from around it so can be drying if applied to dry skin. Almost all "hydrating" serums are basically hyaluronic so you're already doing that bit. I'd maybe look into a richer moisturizer.

HA is not an acid as such, so it wouldn't have an adverse effect with a vitamin C. A vit c though is for glow and improving texture. It won't add moisture.

Vichy 89 serum

That's a hyaluronic.
