I am getting married but am stuck wedding dress shopping. We have a formalish wedding in my STBDH country and then a party in London two months later. ( i have attached a pic as i found a dress for that and to give an idea of my style )

Gor the main day, i am struggling. I tried on a plain gown with a beautiful back, but I don't know, I feel too old..

Any ideas? I'd like something quirky. Size 14. Budget up to £2k hugh neck as décolleté is buggered by years of sun..

That is lovely OP. Personally I'd struggle with the Cape all day but I love the shape and style of it.

Love it, it's gorgeous - the crystal embellished top will really twinkle, it's got a 22" split at the back, so you can walk and sit easily and it's got 8% elastane, so it will be comfortable and have movement.

Hair up, diamond earrings, understated bouquet and satin bridal shoes, you'll look absolutely perfect.

I love the first dress, I'd go for something like that rather than a traditional bridal gown

What about a tea length dress, you've amazing legs, I'd show them off and also buy an outrageously expensive pair of shoes

Love the dresses with the capes. So elegant and much nicer than a traditional wedding dress. It might also be possible to get dyed afterwards so you could wear as an evening dress.

A lovely MN'er found me this for my London Wedding. I got it in a Harvey Nicks but it's also available on net a porter. I loved it and it was very flattering but it might not be dramatic enough-I got married at Marylebone town hall and then chiltern fire house then had a party later on when I wore a cocktail dress.
