Are Lululemon leggings really worth it?

I am happy to pay £90 for leggings if they are going to last me 5 years - but will they really last that long, beating in mind I’ll need to wash them once a week?

I was sorely disappointed with SB leggings a few years ago so have stuck to H&M/Fabletics 😬

I agree about the quality issues - my more recent SB have gone really bobbly really quickly. I do wear them quite a lot but I've been surprised at how quickly they've gone a bit crap.

Agree too, SB used to be amazing for quality but the last 1/2 years they’ve really declined.

I have Lulu and SBetty. They're perfectly good but my cheap ones from Amazon and my USA Pro (from Sports Direct) are better.

My Lululemons went bobbly after 2 washes despite following all the instructions. SB Power Leggings are much better quality in my opinion.

I prefer lulus to Sb. Fit me better and fabric feels nicer and last longer in my experience. On MN however I'm in the minority.

Haha I’m in the minority too, looking at this thread. I’ve got both and Lululemon are much better, IMO.

I really love my lululemon leggings and have pairs that are 5 years old and still going strong - they have probably been worn and washed twice a week during that time. I have only tried the align leggings, so can't comment about the other styles. They are much better than SB leggings in my experience.

Emotionalstorm · 30/04/2023 07:30

They're really comfortable. I've had five pairs for a year. I reach for them all the time. I don't really care if they last five but they look the same as when I brought them.

I have both but prefer SB. I do get a 30% discount in SB though so buy a lot of their stuff.

lululemon is a bit more hit and miss. Their tops are not good quality. Both wash ok in my experience.

I much prefer Lulu to SB nowadays. Something has gone really awry with the designs and quality at SB in the last couple of years.

I got some SB for the first time around 6 months ago, as a treat/upgrade from decathlon own brand. Really really pleased I got them in the sale coz I think they’re a bit shit. Best ones I have are actually off Amazon (Ewedoos)

I really like h and m ones too op! I always go back to them.

I prefer the SB fabric to the Lulu ones, M&S fabric is mostly horrible but I did find one pair that are lovely and soft. I wouldn’t get the BAM ones mentioned, they’re not squat proof, you can definitely see through them when they’re stretched.

Another vote for M&S Goodmove.
