Can someone clued up with skin/acne identify this spot and suggest how I treat it?

I have pretty good skin but I am plagued with one or two of these fuckers in my t zone every couple weeks.

They just get red, angry and feel sore. They never develop a head. If I do a hot flannel and squeeze, then water oozes out and it turns into an oozing, weeping mess for weeks. You occasionally get a bit of pus, but it doesn’t result in a reduction in size.

It feels about half the size of a penny, flat and swollen under the skin.

How is best to treat something like this?

Effaclar duo really is a wonder product and i wish I'd known about it as a teen.
A few years ago my acne had mostly cleared apart from these regular fuckers. I saw someone recommending DIM supplements on here and gave it a go for a year or so. Really seemed to help. I don't take them anymore but do use retinol and this seems to be keeping at bay.

The best combo I’ve found for these is 2 Skin Accumax (https://advancednutritionprogramme.com/skin-accumax-/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrKuJir3N_gIVpejtCh0JpgCBEAAYASAAEgKOYfD_BwE) every morning and a glycolic acid toner after getting my skin really clean with a gentle cleanser. I sometimes strip taking the supplements when I’m feeling broke but they make such a difference that I always cave and find a way to buy them again.

Skin Accumaxâ„¢

Ideal for problem skin, Skin Accumax synergises vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and phytonutrients to work from the inside out to support healthy skin

I get these on my chin/jaw. I never squeeze unless a head forms but I absolutely smother it in sudocrem any opportunity I can. Usually reapplying overnight as obviously can't go around with it on... takes a couple of days but I find it shrinks them and stops them developing into anything nastier looking.

Ouch. I had a few years of getting these on my chin. I was on antibiotics for about 18 months, creams and tablets. Nothing worked.

Eventually I self referred myself to a dermatologist and got prescribed Roaccutane. Not had another once since I started taking it, about 12 years ago.

Do not squeeze it. See a GP, try lymecycline. I don't think they are bad enough that they will refer you to a consultant for isotretinoin so you might have to go private if you want that route.

Get an led light pen. Neutrogena did one. Hold it over the spot as often as possible it will help kill the bacteria in the spot.

I use either Sudocrem or Dots for Spots on the ones I get on my jawline. Both work equally well, dots for spots when I go out, sudocrem at night. Usually goes pretty quickly.

I had these too and seen dermatologist and after lymecycline am now on roaccutane.

It's hormone related but the derm said these spots are very persistent.

I have used duac cream/acnecide which you can now buy over the counter. The spot dots also help a little, but ultimately you may need to see the gp.

Try taking a zinc supplement and using a niacinamide+zinc serum if you get hyperpigmentation after the infection goes.
