If you've had yours done tell me everything I need to know please!

I'm getting micro / powder brows - I over plucked in the 90s and have the shittest brows ever

I'm terrified I'll hate them but I'm so sick of drawing them on (badly) every morning

For people that are going to have theirs done only apply numbing cream the technician has given you. Some change the texture of your skin and then the technician won't be able to do the procedure.

Some technicians will give you a cream to apply nightly afterwards, it's a different kind of healing process to dry healing but is not wrong.

I had mine done about 6 years ago. They still have a faded shape but I need them done again. I'd have them just like yours @HarlanPepper they are lovely!

Im at the crusty stage - and feel so minging!

Have not being able to wash my face properly and desperately want to pick the horrible dandruff looking bits!

I'm on day 6, the brow lady gave me balm to put on them but I feel like butting balm on balm without washing in-between is gross!

Any tips? I'm going to ring her in the morning to see what she thinks 🤔

I was told to wipe with water on a cotton pad (very minimal, not dripping wet) and then apply bepanthan.
After 48 hours it was just the cream a couple of times a day. Scabbing was barely noticeable.

First noticed my eyebrows going more sparse early 40's. I had the thin over plucked brow look in the 90's but, I do think for most people it is the aging process rather than 90's over plucking.
I had mine first microbladed 3 years ago, a top up in 2021 and due another top up next week.
First 18 months were great, then faded to a natural lighter colour. I found it extremely painful with the scratches, my eyes and nose were streaming and had to sneeze every couple of minutes. So, when I went for a top up I was quite apprehensive and nervous and took my eye of the ball. The therapist had used a cool tone the first time, she didn't ask the second time and I totally forgot that there had been a choice the first time. She gave me warm brown brows. Still looked OK until 3 months ago when they started to fade to a red colour!! Looks ridiculous. Also, she convinced me to go w powder effect but applied over my brows to give it a lift(?) but now you can see the red powder effect above my browline. Not a great look. Even my children can see it and ask why I have got red eyebrows.
Still, going to have them topped up and hopefully can help lessen the red look.
I have been really low in iron for a few months which someone said can affect the pigment too.
Your brows look beautiful btw. Mine have always healed well with minimal scabbing.
For anyone else thinking about having i done, really do your research and show the person doing it how you want the end result to look.

I just washed my face normally after I had my brows done (on advice of my technician, I didn't just go willy-nilly!) They healed perfectly. I did get balm to put on too but only a very thin layer after I'd washed my face.
