Has anyone used Sistaco nail 'varnish'?

This company's products keep coming up on my Facebook feed. Has anyone ever used them? Are they any good?

I would really like to stop getting my nails done in a salon (builder in a bottle overlay) but I don't like to have naked nails. I did used to paint my nails with ordinary varnish and seche vite but never got very good results.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Hi, please could you tell me how you do this? As in, what steps in what order or at what point you swap in normal products, and for how long under the light etc? It sounds like a genius idea and I’d love to try it!x

It takes a little getting used to. I have done 2 manicures and both have peeled off within 3 days. Jury's still out on this one.

The following is my opinion: Dodgy AF. The mineral powders are the same as mica powders which is a cheap product (look on Temu, Amazon, SHEI, etc. the base and top coats are cheap. The fast remover could be classified as paint stripper. The system has toxins in. It is also a gel nail system though they won’t use the term ‘gel’. Their FB group is overwhelmingly a dictatorship. No negative comments. The bribe customers for a positive Trust Pilot review. They even shut down Facebook groups who discuss their product. That is how desperate they are for only good words to be said about them. Do I need to go on? Don’t waste your money. Buy a decent base and top coat and get yourself mica powders and some acetone for removing.

I bought a set at the state fair and I love all the colors and how easy it is to apply and remove. They did a demonstration at the fair booth and I was hooked. I can't afford to have my nails done all the time and I'm super clumsy at trying to paint my own. This was the perfect solution. It really doesn't take much time. Only down side is that any time you work with powders, it's kinda messy, so find a surface or lay a towel down to catch any dust. But yes, these are real and they are great. You can mix colors and do hombre effects too if you're talented enough.

Honestly, don't waste your money. I spent £150 on a starter kit and Extra powders. If you use it on nail tips extensions it's great and lasts but on natural nails it chips and comes off after a couple of hours just like gel polish.
I ditched Sistaco and went on to UV cured nail wraps and never looked back. They last 3-4 weeks, no chipping and they take an hour to do a full set. I buy mine from shtolida.com and have found theirs the best 6 euros a set.
