I’m looking for recommendations for foundation and concealer please! Im in my 30s, have rosacea and am currently pregnant and my skin is just looking awful. I really want to cover the redness so am looking for long-lasting full coverage.
I’ve used Mac studio fix fluid for years but am finding it just slides off my face these days.
All advice welcome!

Rosalique 3 in 1 Anti-Redness works for me, applied with a brush.

Thank you both!

Make sure you get a sample first OP as it makes me look like an Oompah Lumpa it's so warm on me. It's a shame they don't do paler shades.

I swear by Estee lauder double wear,I've worn it for years. It's important to get correctly colour matched or it can look mask like but when you get the right shade it's fantastic. I apply with a buffing brush and almost use it like concealer. Once on it doesn't shift.

I like Rosalique, it’s yellow though which is fine for me but not if you’re more pink undertoned. It’s also quite glowy which is nice but means it doesn’t last long enough.

I love IT Cosmetics CC Cream, I do a layer of that with a brush and then pat on some Clinique Anti-Redness foundation on top with a beauty blender. Lasts all day without being drying or irritating.

I find I do best with a lighter foundation. No7 hydraluminous is a winner for me.

Dr Jart tiger grass, amazing stuff

Congratulations on your pregnancy 💐 xx

I use this one from Amazon - it covers my rosacea and little spider veins beautifully. I apply it very quickly using my hands (no time in the mornings!) and it has a great natural look, but it also builds really nicely for full coverage if that is what you are after.

Plus SPF50 is a massive winner for me as I have rosacea on my cheeks but vitiligo around my eyes!

Isabelle70 · 06/04/2023 18:12

I have rosacea but I am using the Dermatica treatment at the moment so the redness has really reduced.
However, I am still using the Chanel ultra le teint foundation that I have for about the last 4 years. When my skin was bad it worked well on the coverage and now I find I just don't need as much and it still works just as well.

Thanks everyone for the tips! I don't want to waste loads of money on stuff that doesn't work so it's good to get some suggestions - sounds like a trip round the makeup counters is in order over the bank holiday weekend!

Can you use Soolantra when you're pregnant, ask your gp. Is amazing for rosacea.

I think it's recommended to avoid it but definitely hoping to start after pregnancy

Revolution Beauty do a good colour corrector in green - I think it’s called colour correct primer. I wear this under a BB cream by Kiko and they seem to work pretty well on my combination rosacea-prone skin. Also both very budget friendly
