The Sezanne aesthetic on a shoe string budget?

For those that like Sezanne but can’t or won’t pay Sezanne pieces I thought it would be a nice idea to post pieces that you think would fit the Sezanne aesthetic just without the price tag.

Also when I go into the Toast shops in a London most of the clientele do look like grannies.

Can I suggest Berthie - Sezane style and slightly cheaper. I can't comment on quality, service etc as I haven't ordered from them, but I've had my eye on their stuff for about a year. https://berthie.fr/

looks like returns would be tricky (not back to. A UK warehouse which always puts me off) but they do have some nice things on there.

@notanicepersonapparently that is a nice bag. They have some lovely bags at the moment with one in particular showing up on my Insta feed regularly. I am hoping to find something similar in a charity shop as I think for a bag that is not leather, then it’s pretty expensive!

@doglover90 fashion really does come full circle. DM knitted things like that for us in the 70’s! I really want to buy the first one you’ve linked, maybe I’ll just show her and see if she can knit me one again.

I saw somebody mention Berthie upthread, it doesn't have the best quality (prepare to see loose threads and have buttons fall off after one wash), but yeah, it's a tad cheaper than Sezane and they have many copies of Sezane designs. Like literal copies

These are the Mango items I was trying to link to. I do want a big summery straw bag but ideally I want it even cheaper than this.
The dress I thought was lovely for someone, though not for me.
The Sézane dupes article has some good pieces. I’d seen the Breton they linked but it is as they say the extra details that make the difference and the Sézane version has shoulder buttons which make it more interesting.

😂me too Remus. I think you'd have to be very young and very waif like to pull that dress off.

I really like the broderie top from Monsoon linked to in the article above. There's some lovely Sezane like broderie tops and dresses at La Redoute atm but they have a BH sale on and a lot of the sizes are sold out.

I bought a couple of Love & Roses cotton summer tops last year very pretty quality was quite good for the money.
