Which home dye

I recently went to the hairdressers and had it coloured a lovely "mushroom" colour. It lasted approx 3 washes and is now back to the gingery colour it was before hand with my grey roots slightly coming back through.

I'm really considering chucking a cool brown home due on it as I have a few events coming up.

But which?

Superdrug own hair colour is excellent. I hate any gingery colour in my hair and this one is really good if you're looking for a light-ish brown.

Nice and Easy light ash brown semi permanent-doddle to use and gets rid of ginger. Until it fades of course-but nicer to use than permanent.

L'Oréal Casting. Leaves hair lovely and shiny in great condition. I used it for years and, on the advice of several hairdressers, after a couple of applications I ignored the instructions and applied it to roots only, without rubbing through to the ends for the final 5 minutes. This was an improvement and avoided colour build-up.
