Inspired by the 'why do people buy expensive designer bags, I don't understaaaaaaand' thread, I thought it would be fun to show our last purchases.

Here's mine, bought in the Mulberry Xmas sale for a bargain knock down price. I love it and will use it loads in the Spring & Summer.

Some lovely bags, and funnily enough was looking at the next website and in Tk maxx today for a new bag. I’m more of a £30-50 handbag type of person.

Love the YSL.

Have looked at De Mellier a few times but never bought. I like a lot of their styles and the quality looks good.

That is a beauty. They keep popping up on my insta feed and I have to sit on my hands!

Instead I shall get out my old Chloe hobo which doesn't get much love ( don't know why, it's a great bag, think it's because I bought in Navy which really doesn't work for me)

Latest bag I bought was my Naghedi tote.

I always find it a bit suspect that on these threads so many post a pic from the internet or a link but not a pic of their actual bag/dress/shoes/engagement ring... 🤔

@LadyOfTheCanyon its my first Demellier bag and the quality is excellent so wouldn’t hesitate buying another in the future. They seem to have stopped selling the berry red so glad I bought when I did.

For years I’ve planned to buy a Chloe Marcie Hobo, never got round to it and they no longer make them.

@TheMatriarchy I like the look of the bag and have had my hands on it but I just can’t bring myself to pay that price for a bag that is not leather. What I also found the closure mechanism hard to use.

I’m always puzzled by these threads when the majority of posters don’t show their actual own item but post a photo from an ad or similar. Why? I’d like to see the actual bag you have & perhaps how you style it etc. Anyone can look on the internet for a picture & post it.

@Downunderduchess - maybe people just don't photograph their bags? They may be personally happy with them, but don't make them the focus of a photo? Or photograph it immediately on buying them? That's always my assumption.

Well I posted when I was browsing MN at work, so I used a picture I already had on my phone of it. Im not going to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to get it out of the cupboard when I get in and take a photo of it.
