I'm not a big spender on products but more recently want something that feels higher end but don't want to spend a lot. I started buying Lidl lavender shower gel for £2.99 and adding clary sage and rosemary essential oils. It smells devine and feels so lovely. I was in Rituals recently and almost caved and bought a rose scrub. I even asked if I could sample it. It was £18 and my better senses took over and I resisted. Went into Primark and found their salt scrub reduced from £4 to £2 and added some rose essential oil and espresso granules. It's like something you'd get in a spa. I just need to work out how to make perfume now, I love rose dunes from Molton Brown but can't justify £120.
Anyone else have any hacks they'd like to share?

Rosehip oil - fab for your face and skin and a natural anti-aging product, but very expensive for a tiny bottle. Can make your own by picking rosehips in the autumn, drying them in a low oven and infusing in almond oil. Can then use as is on the skin, or add essential oils for a lovely bath oil.

@rbe78 I love that idea, I use rosehip oil already, but would love to try making my own.

As somebody with allergies the idea of adding more perfume to a product makes me itch. Good for you though if it makes you feel happy.
