How to improve my look

I need help from anyone in the know about these things.
I am very ugly and it's seriously getting me down. I want to try and improve somehow but no clue about make up etc.
Here's the main problem areas:
Very thin and lank hair. Very dry scalp also but gets greasy easily. It's shoulder length with long layers, still looks crap.
Pale skin with freckles. Want to look more tanned and hide the freckles.
Massive pointy nose. Is there a clever make up skill to make it look smaller?
Thin lips. Product for making them look bigger?
Flat chest. Need suggestions for good brands of bras.
Clothing suggestions. 37 but constantly mistaken for late teens or early twenties. I don't dress young, it's usually skinny jeans and a jumper, quite plain really but I am quite short and slim which doesn't help. Just need ideas on what to wear but nothing too pricey.
Thanks in advance.

Apart from the freckles, your description of yourself made you sound like Andrea in Call My Agent. That’s what I’m visualising now!

I agree with seeing a decent hairdresser/colourist. This will improve your confidence.

A few things you can do.

Highlights to thicken up hair. Anything that lightens up the hair will (as someone said above) open the cuticle a bit and thickens individual hairs. Dry shampoo would help with grease and adding a bit of thickness.

Gradual fake tan. A light fake tan would help, especially in the summer. I’m pale and look odd when tanned in winter. Personally I like to get some actual sun on my skin to get some vitamin d also. Just a few minutes without SPF in the summer, building up without ever burning.

Push up bra?

Filler in your nose to soften it somehow. I don’t know how this works, but I know it’s a thing.

Make up your eyes more to pull attention to your eyes instead.

Qoves Studio on YouTube talks about how people can actually make themselves look better.

Also I would suggest talking to someone about how you feel about yourself. I did feel sad for you reading you post. I have a pointy nose, small boobs, pale skin and freckles and I really love them all, so it is possible to feel differently. I didn’t always love these features either. I have also gone up cup sizes before (pregnancy and breastfeeding) and really didn’t like them!

@TennisWithDeborah I wish I looked like her.
Just googled and she has a smaller nose and thicker lips and actually looks like a woman rather than a teenage girl.

Oh OP, this is really upsetting. "I feel disgusted when I look in the mirror and tell myself I am ugly at least 3 times a day if not more."
You don't need fixing. Sure, get some highlights or whatever if it makes you feel good but I honestly think the solution is fixing how you feel, not how you look. I know that's easier said than done and I say it as someone who also feels shit about my looks.
We can't all look like Penelope Cruz but that doesn't mean we're disgusting or hideous or need fixing.

Honestly, if it's really important to you then just get a nose job, it will be worth every penny if its getting you down. Then after that you could get a little lip filler, life's too short and if changing your appearance will make you happy then do it!

TheLostNights · 27/03/2023 21:57

I am considering the nose job but then I would also want my lips and boobs done and so I guess I just have to prioritise what bothers me more. Which is my nose at the moment.

You’re probably being very hard on yourself BUT… as a pale, pointy nose girl to another, a fake tan does me the world of good. I used St Tropez express and leave it on for 1hr 1/2 for a natural glow. It disguises my dark circles & softens my features.

Other low maintenance & cheap ‘fixes’… LVL lash lift (£40 & lasts for months), dry shampoo just after you’ve washed & dried your hair… don’t wait until it’s dirty. Change the skinny jeans for mom or straight leg and do the half tuck to get a waist.
