Does anyone use a decolletage pad for sleeping?

I'm a side sleeper, no chance of changing that but I'm finding in the mornings the lines on my chest are taking longer and longer to smooth out.

Skin is pretty good, no sun damage so I can't see more creams making much of a difference but I was wondering about some sort of sticky pad, I've seen a few online but reviews are patchy.

I used one for a while a few years ago but I think I started getting spots or irritation. It did work well for a while though.

Doobry!! Breast clap!

Thanks for this thread OP. You've reminded me I bought one of these a while ago but completely forgot about it. I'm going to dig it out tomorrow and start using it.

Nothing i tried worked well enough so I've made a conscious effort to become a back sleeper. I think it's beneficial for the face too. It is possible to train yourself. I often go without a pillow too which helps with posture

WeCome1 · 25/03/2023 07:19

Here’s a link to the pillow type. https://amzn.to/3z46Z1S

I use my LED face mask across my chest when I remember. That definitely helps a bit.

AbsolutePixels · 25/03/2023 08:13

I wonder if taping the skin would work.

I wondered about using some skin tape also, but I was worried about pulling the skin when taking it off. Then I'd be worrying about stretching the skin instead of the lines!

In today's Times supplement

I used to work with a girl who did all this shit. Remember we all die in the end and how old you look at the time makes not one jot of difference.

That's true, so we should all do what makes us happy...which for me is this 'shit'. I would do it whether I was single or married, it's just what I'm interested in.

@Branster I'll check those ones out thanks.

I get these creases and I am a side sleeper too. Thank you for the thread OP I am going to take a look at the helpful suggestions.

Farmageddon · 25/03/2023 11:21

I've heard that the best way to prevent these is to learn to sleep on your back, apparently slightly elevated is best.
But I just love sleeping on my side, it's so comfortable, plus my back would hurt if I slept like that.
Will check out some of these recommendations..

Branster · 25/03/2023 12:00

I just remembered there's a neck and décolletage cream from Prai which is often mentioned as being very good.
No idea what it does but worth investigating OP as a repair and prevent measure.
Also, suncream when wearing lower necklines in the sun.

What a lot of idiotic comments from some posters! OP asked a specific question. It's not a debate on 'is it worth doing all this shit'. Anything is worth it, if it makes you feel better. Reading a good book is worth it even if you can't remember it in 10 years time.

I tried this cream and honestly didn’t find it any different to any other creams but others may disagree!

UpToonGirl · 26/03/2023 14:05

I think I used a sample of prai which was in an m&s advent box a few years ago and it broke me out in spots.

The patches @Branster posted are sold out so I've ordered some from Amazon.

Same. The neck attachment comes off on mine and I stick it down my top while I read.

Gonna get a tit pillow too.

BadgerFacedCoo · 26/03/2023 14:16

Sorry I tried to quote the poster about the led mask there. Sorry.

LatteOneShotplease · 26/03/2023 14:20

I posted on a thread like this (well, not as snarky) a while ago.
I think ones easy to do is just roll up a small silk scarf and put it between your boobs. Can make it a bit more substantial by wrapping it around a flannel. Both are washable, and silk on it's own is lovely and cool.

I just put a scarf over my pillowcase - again, nice and cool, and have a black silk scarf that I sometimes drape over my eyes. Wash by hand in baby wash and dry very quickly.

I have a few - they are not fancy Mulberry silk , but feel nice nevertheless- although I admit to doing a search for the scarf from the Miss Dior ad. (£300!!!!!)

JMAngel1 · 26/03/2023 14:32

I tried them but tbh didn't find them make much difference.
Now what has made a difference - and significantly, is a Beauty Pie Neck and chest spray - soooo good. Somehow has ironed out the v creases that were there all the time (not just there in the morning for me) and made the skin more resiliant so it doesn't crease as much anymore. I don't rate Beauty Pie at all aside from this one spray product.

JMAngel1 · 26/03/2023 14:33

I used to use the Prai cream - I thought it was good until I found the BP spray.

LatteOneShotplease · 26/03/2023 14:46

@JMAngel1
Wow - the price difference for members vs non-members!
I'll keep on with the silk scarf arrangement and a discontinued Nivea cream that I can only get from Amazon (Urban something or other - just for the smell really - but do not have a single line on my neck, somehow.....)

This is bringing back some memories of when there was a Virgin Vie skincare range; it included a lovely pink gel called (haha) Necker Gel, smelt gorgeous - as did the watermelon cleanser etc. I loved that stuff.

JMAngel1 · 26/03/2023 16:48

I get an introductory free trial (changes of email addresses) so do it multiple times over the years and then just buy the spray in bulk - I bought 6 during my last free trial.
I've never paid for a subscription but still get the memeber price.

JackyinaTracky · 26/03/2023 17:10

I tried the stick on silicone ones and they were really effective, but I ended up with these weird bubbly blisters if I used it every night. I guess they stop the skin sweating and evaporating or something. I then gave the boob pillow a go and although not quite as good as the stick on silicone it definitely made a difference.

LoobyDop · 26/03/2023 17:32

If they stretch you out enough to prevent creasing, aren’t they incredibly uncomfortable?
