Opaque tights and *BEIGE SHOES* - WTF?!?!

I went for a walk at lunchtime and saw at least 3 women with very dark opaque tights and high heels that were beige or 'natural' in colour.

I find it totally hideous - or am I missing some important fashion thing?

You are missing some important fashion thing.

If you have a look at the glossies it's the thing to do. Whilst I like it on other people, if I were to do it I would look like I had got dressed in the dark

a fashion for the young perhaps (said from the grand old age of 29!)

I don't know - some colours with black tights, but beige?? I suppose it depends on the kind of shoe.

One thing I cannot do is wear tights and peep hole shoes, even though it was all over Grazia in the winter. Sod that, I tried it, but felt like Dot Cotton at an evening soiree. You shouldn't see your toes when you have tights on.

I saw someone coming out of a church recently (christening ceremony I think) who was wearing black opaque tights with white high heels. can't say i will be rushing to emulate that look either....
