I went to the one near my Mums yesterday and they had sold out. Bought some other stuff from their range though.

You'd be lucky to get any as they sell out as soon as they hit the shelves. Aldi in their wisdom decided on a big marketing campaign but didin't bother to let the managers know in time so that they could order extra stock. It is good stuff though.

Slouchy · 11/02/2008 09:35

Bought it. Not opened it yet, still using the pot of Nivea Q10 I've got open. Will report back.

DrNortherner · 11/02/2008 09:39

I bought the eye cream, day cream and hand cream, plus a mascara and concealer a bit like the touche eclat one all for £12!!!!

I heard about this but didn't know where it was from. What's the range called as I'll have a look?

dustystar · 11/02/2008 09:42

its called Siana

bran · 11/02/2008 09:44

No doubt all stock will be bought in bulk the second it hits the shelves and re-sold on ebay for the next couple of months.

dustystar · 11/02/2008 09:48

DH has already had this happen and apparently Aldi will prosecute people that do this if they find out.

StealthPolarBear · 11/02/2008 09:49

how can they? Is it illegal?

bran · 11/02/2008 09:51

I'm not sure how they could sucessfully prosecute, unless everyone who buys it signs something to say they won't resell. There's no law against selling what you lawfully own.

dustystar · 11/02/2008 09:51

Apparently. I don't know why but its come up before as they sell stuff so cheaply.

bran · 11/02/2008 09:52

I've just done a search on Aldi cream on ebay and come up with 87 listings. So the threat hasn't put many off then.

dustystar · 11/02/2008 09:52

I think its because a lot of ebayers count as traders and the rules are different then.

chocolatespiders · 11/02/2008 22:30

It just said SOLD OUT

Yeni · 12/02/2008 14:16

I bought some of this ages ago and while I found the texture lovely the smell was so overpowering I couldn't stand having it on my face.

serin · 12/02/2008 17:42

Plenty in our local Aldi.

I found that it really made my face tingle for the first couple of minutes after applying, in an unpleasant way.....but it has made my skin loads softer and brighter.

Caught DH applying it too, that has got to be a first!

dippydeedoo · 13/02/2008 21:10

loads of the night cream in our aldi ......apparently theres loads on ebay?

ShinyDysonHereICome · 14/02/2008 19:49

Bought some today and it's fabulous!

scattyspice · 14/02/2008 19:57

I use the Lidl cream (similar price) its just as good as any other (no miracles though sadly).

Scramble · 14/02/2008 23:17

I got the serum fram aldis at £2.99, it seems quite good, I have aldis night cream and can use it now I have dealt with my spotty skin as with most anti wrinkle creams they are a bit rich and bring out my big red pimples.

I got a pen/brush type conceler too from aldis and it is very good for under eyes.

I must try try the eye cream as well.

SarahBump · 01/03/2008 22:11

Aldi didn't know about the MASSIVE campaign at all. The magazine that tested several products with 2000 women didn't tell any of the retailers to keep it completely impartial. Following the amazement of a £1.89 product beating the rest of the much more expensive stuff the national media went crazy for the story. Aldi's cream ended up in every national paper with a full page artical, on local and national radio, on Richard and Judy and several other tv shows. This caused a monumental surge in demand of which Aldi could not meet. Stores should be back to full availability in the next week or two. An Aldi manager.

woodenchair · 02/03/2008 17:26

Which cream was it? I went to aldi the other day thinking it would be obvious which one to buy, but there were loads to choose from, all £1.89
