I'm maid of honour and have a limited budget to find three dresses, we are all size 10 and the wedding theme (for clothes, flowers etc )is black, white and blues and greens

I think this is lovely personally, but opinions are welsome

I like the style ( on size 10s) but not awfully sure on the colour. Does it fit with the blue/green of the theme?

Ledodgy · 11/02/2008 00:19

I agree it's fab.

PenelopePitstops · 11/02/2008 00:21

georgeous dress and reasonable price

does it matc with bride etc?

babyonboard · 11/02/2008 00:24

She is wearing white, I'm doing the flowers and it's mainly green foliage with daisies.

I think I might arrange a trip to Coast next weekend for the all important trying on. I've just looked through and they seem to have lots of lovely things.

Love it - very very nice and will look beautiful on the photos. I like the colour alot - very classy

When I got married, I did a similar thing, but the dresses were from Monsoon.

perhaps you could get them a shrug as well for during the day.......depends on if tey all have beuatiful arms or not

boomie · 11/02/2008 10:25

NatalieJane · 11/02/2008 10:39

I think it is a lovely dress, keep the jewelerry sparkly but simple, it will look great

Lovely dress. Colour is great too.

auntyspan · 11/02/2008 10:54

i wore a dress this colour in september for my pal's wedding - there were three bridesmaids, two brunette and one blond and the colour looked great on all three of us (but looks spec nice if you have a bitofa tan!)

babyonboard · 11/02/2008 12:53

It's not my wedding!

It's my best friends,I'm maid of honour, and she's trusted sorting out the bridesmaids to me

I love it! Hope the other two do!

For shoes I'm thinking ballet pumps from french sole but not sure which colour

OP posts:
babyonboard · 11/02/2008 13:58

I'm quite liking this shrug

perhaps with ivory ballet pumps

coast have some lovely cover ups but not right colour.

I like it, but if you're on a budget this is nice too. Actually monsoon have some very nice things.

what style is the bride's dress?

sparkybabe · 11/02/2008 14:21

OMG - when my sister got married (first time lol) I was bridesmaid, and wore a dress almost identical to that! This was in 1979............

babyonboard · 11/02/2008 14:40

That is nice mrs badger, but we want floor length.
The budget is £350 each for dress shoes, acesories.

Brides dress is pretty much the same as this one

with a budget that big I'd try this one
or go for satin to match the bride's dress?

lol RubyRioja I love the electric blue one with a lace bib! How classy

The bride is unfairly gorgeous so no chance of upstaging her !

Mrs Badger I like that one too, but think I prefer the plain one, means more to spend on shoes too!

Flamesparrow · 11/02/2008 16:20

Ooh I like the satin one and the first one
