Sick of shopping at New Look

My go to clothes shop is New Look but the quality is poor, I can afford more now and I want stuff that is more stylish and Boho.

Can anyone recommend anywhere? I'm mid 30s if that makes a difference.

I don't think the quality of New Look stuff is too bad to be honest. The worst quality items I have had have been bought from Massimo Dutti and H&M.

I agree. I don't buy much in NL these days but when I have had a browse the quality isn't actually much different from some of the overpriced so called 'high end' high street such as Hush and MV which are charging eye watering amounts for poor fabrics. I ordered a dress from Allsaints over Christmas, it was in excess of £140 and was thin, unlined and almost entirely polyester. Needless to say it went back.
I tend to look at composition over labels now, higher price is not a guarantee of higher quality.

I do agree that Cos are good quality and you definitely get what you pay for. Arket as well.

@isthismylifenow the brands you mention in your post are all from the cheaper shops, so they would sell similar styles, you can't say all clothing is made in the factory as when we shop around I can tell the quality is better in a more expensive shop, for instance today looking for a cropped black jacket, one in phase eight 45%polyester 65% cotton, £125, newlook 95% polyester £25, I did look at the newlook one as I didn't really want to spend £125. But the newlook one was very shiny not very nice, so there is a difference.

I’m loving Oliver Bonas right now and they always have good sales.

Following as I certainly have lost my way in the style stakes. So many shops closed in the pandemic I struggle with where to shop (38yrs)

if you want one step up price wise, then M&S (you need the big stores with premium range) same with H&M, also Mango, Hush and John Lewis own brands. Quality but not too ££. next step up from that pricewise is Whistles
