What jacket do you wear with a halter neck?

Hi all
I have a couple of halter necks and struggle with what to wear on top.
For context, these are for weddings/other such dos and a massive apple shaped body.
I ended up with a cardigan last time and still not convinced about the silhouette.

Another vote for a blazer, slightly oversized,
90s style.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise this was an issue. The reason I responded was because I had the same question as OP. Based on the responses from other posters I decided to go with a shawl or blazer. I found your response to be inconsiderate towards women with this question on the basis that it was poignantly against differences in aesthetic taste and it didn't take into consideration that it just might be reasonable that a lady might want to wear that style of dress, even in a cooler or colder climate given that they will probably be indoors where it is warm most of the time and they like how they look in that style. The other reason is because OP's post was one of the first results that appeared in my search regarding the exact same question. Your response was the direct response to OP's question and you did not take into consideration that it is reasonable to need something warm to cover up if one was to get a chill for any number of reasons.
