If you increased the amount of water you drink, have you noticed a difference?

I am very bad at drinking water and liquids in general when it’s cold and would like to motivate myself more. I know all the benefits etc but I want to understand whether you have had some tangible benefits after a short while?
My skin is always dull and my eves always look tired these days, could that also be a sign of dehydration for example?

I drink loads, but i always have, even as a child/teen i preferred water and drank a lot. 2 5 litres is my norm. This thread made me wonder what i would look like if i hadn't done this, we'll never know!

I drink lots of water and notice it in the odd day I dint drink as much. Feel less energetic.

Sister is 6 years old than me and has always drank a lot of water, whereas I’m a coffee/tea drinker. Her skin is so much brighter and less lines etc than mine 🫠

Shit, Water! It’s still water!!! 😂😂

Does tea count?

Well, I promised about a week ago that I’d drink more water and then report back.

My eyes are definitely more ‘wide-awake’ looking, so I’m going to keep it up.

Only thing is, I’m getting up in the night to go to the toilet - and that’s a nuisance. Will have to restrict my water intake to the early part of the day.

I’m joining as i am a such poor drinker!
I can go days without any proper drink, only have a coffee in the morning and most days this is it.
I go twice to toilet maximum per day and my hands and face look like I’m 95 years old- I’m serious, though I’m half the age!
I tried everything to increase my intake, fancy bottles, fancy drink flavours, fancy teas etc..
Nothing. Zero, zilch, none.

One tip that worked for me was to drink a large glass of water in the morning first thing. I do that whilst making my first cup of tea of the day, getting stuff ready. It goes down easily as I am thirsty and often I can have more than one glass. So then I'm feeling good at the start of the day!

I did just this one thing for two weeks to set it as a habit.

I don’t like water alone
