Black everything

Wide leg trousers

Patient boots

Red lipstick

I wish I had patient boots! Grin Mine are too quick to pinch my toes.

I love black anything generally - never happier than when head to toe in black jeans, t shirt and leather biker jacket with chunky silver jewellery.

Although I am fond of a stripy top.

I'm not sure I really have one. It used to be stripes, definitely, but I feel like I've aged out of that in my thirties a bit (albeit am seeing them everywhere for those year so might return to my roots this spring).

If it's anything it's probably just jumpers. I love a good, oversizef, soft, knitted jumper. One I can tuck in and roll up the sleeves and just feel cosy in. I own more jumpers than I do anything else so I suppose it has to be that.

I love dressing up with a side serving of quirk.

Swisspolkadot · 27/02/2023 11:05

Stripes
Broderie Anglaise
Chambray
Usually dresses

<ponders why am I sitting here in a plain black jumper and baggy jeans when I have clothes I absolutely adore! I need to stop saving for best!>

Scoring beautiful second hand blazers from charity shops. Polyester blazer from Zara for £50 or pure wool vintage blazer from the Hospice Shop for £4? Hmmm.

I do love polka dots actually, but only teeny ones. Cannot stand big polka dots.

Will never not be in love with Chelsea boots.

Jewellery. I love all the coloured gemstones and sparkly diamonds.

Cantonet · 27/02/2023 11:39

Definitely Cashmere.
I have a plethora of Jumpers & scarves in every weight & colour. I have to sit on my hands to avoid buying any more. Also summer knitwear in linen & cotton from Wrap & Poetry.
Lace edge camisoles I wear all year around in various weights & materials dependent on the weather.
A more recent passion is crinkle cotton/ muslin/ tissue cotton/linen shirts due to the freedom from ironing.

I'm loving this thread - clothes can make you feel amazing when they express your personalith. I love a dress in bright colours as it really lifts my mood and a bag with personality.

Most of my clients find they wear the same thing all the time and get stuck in a style rut. A wardrobe full of clothes and nothing to wear but the same jeans and tshirt.

I'm loving the variety of colours and self-expression!

My passion and constant fashion hunt is to find a top that looks like it’s from years ago and picked up from some little market or something in France. In my mind it’s white or cream with lace and broaderie anglais and ideally I’ll bag it in a charity shop for under a tenner!

I feel sad that I don't have a passion for one thing, I'm more boho than anything and my clothes tend to be colourful and/or pretty. Spar from my black yoga pants.

actually writing that made me realise t that I do have my things.

I love this thread, it shows such a wide variety of how we all present ourselves to the world, it's fascinating!

OMG thank you @Cantonet!

I've been looking for linen knitwear for sooo long!

Stripes, black leather, gold hardware over silver etc, that sporty hole-y mesh fabric, crew necklines....

If I happen to be clothes shopping with DS8, he will often say 'no more stripes, mum' Blush

Niftythrifter · 27/02/2023 17:43

Missoni!
