Beauty/Skin care refresh - suggestions gratefully received

I've been going through a Beauty overhaul recently and I'm in need of some suggestions of products. I'm picking a few new things each month as I binned the majority of my make-up and skincare collection.

Would love some recommendations for the following things, I don't mind spending a bit more to get the right product as I'll be getting trying to build up over time.

I'm looking for:

A matte blusher in a coral colour (I tried on a Clarins one today which was beautiful, but I'm also tempted by the Charlotte Tilbury matte blush wands - I fear these would be more difficult to work with though? )

A matte bronzer that isn't too dark. I'm naturally pale when I don't fake tan.

A makeup setting spray suitable for oily skin

Primer for oily skin (I've heard Porefessional by Benefit is good and I have 2 samples of the original and Porefessional lite to try)

Vitamin C serum

Retinol (the only one I've tried is the N07 one and to be honest I can't say I noticed a difference in my skin although maybe I wasn't using it consistently enough?)

Water based daily moisturizer

Non-chip nail varnish - I have just bought the Sally Hansen nail hardener and maximum growth varnish after the lady in Boots with the most amazing natural nails recommended them but I'd love to have a varnish that doesn't chip in a day

Mattifying setting powder - again have seen Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter recommended but have yet to try it

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be so grateful, I got some amazing recommendations when asking for eyeshadow palettes so hoping I can get a few more 😊

I start with Garnier vitamin c with SPF 25 then I use protect and perfect moisturiser, then I love the Garnier BB cream with SPF 50, I find all spfs look greasy on me but this one gives a light foundation coverage and I know I won't burn. I use revolution powder, I cant remember what it's called. For blush I love this crayon Maybelline make, i think it's supposed to be for lips but it looks great on cheeks and lasts longer than cream blush. Barry M feature length is my go to mascara. In the evening I cleanse with superdrugs melting balm and then I use skin+me as I had used retinol for years but felt like I wanted something stronger and wanted to try Tretinoin. You can only get in on prescription so I've joined Skin+Me. You can get a months trial for free just p&p £3.50 with my code

and it's really easy to cancel or pause if you don't like it. There's also dermalogica but I haven't tried them. I've been using skin+me for nearly 3 years now, I've found it works great and the customer care is excellent. If my skin feels dry I then apply lacura rose oil 10 mins after the skin and me.

Thanks so much Cotswoldmama I will look at skin + me

Skincare massively confuses me, I have heard so many things are "must have products" but wonder how you fit them all in?! I double cleanse with the no7 cleansing balm and then Cerave oily skin cleanser. Then toner, followed by the no7 resurfacing peel (the best thing I have ever used on my skin!) and then moisturize.

But I've been reading about vitamin c being a must have ingredient, retinol, tretinoin, hyaluronic acid serums, turmeric serums etc. It's so confusing knowing what I should and shouldn't be using, it already feels like I do quite a lot, although my skin has never felt so good!)

On top of that the lady on the Estee Lauder counter gave me so many free samples to try, as did the lady on the Clarins counter so I feel even more confused. I wish there was a skincare expert I could go to who would explain all the products I need, the ones I don't, recommend their favourite products but with no pressure to sell you their own stuff because they don't have their own stuff to sell. Like an independent mortgage broker for skincare 😁
