As above! I’m somewhere far south of that but my hands look very old and wrinkly. I’ve not been an avid handcream user in the past (long hair, always seemed to make my hair greasier when I used hand cream as I absentmindedly touched my hair frequently) but am looking to mend my ways.

Wise ones…what should I be using? Hyaluronic acid hand cream? Is that even a thing? Any suggestions? I know I can’t repair the damage but I’d like to help it stop getting worse.

Hand Chemistry have some anti-ageing ones with active ingredients in. I saw loads of them in Tkmaxx not too long ago though, and they appear to be final sale on their website so I'm not sure if they're going to continue making those.

If your hands are jus dry, go for a hand cream with urea, the one by Eucerin is good. You could also consider a water resistant SPF to prevent further damage.

Beauty Big Cheese here.
Try Clairns, Leighton Denny and Balance Me hand creams. Shiseido if you want to splash out.
Any vitamin c serum will lighten age spots. Rub it in day and night.
You can have fat boosters on your hands but I just use sunscreen.
No pearl nail colours as they make the skin look cold.

My tip is put hand cream in car, I really notice my witch like hands on the steering wheel and so it's only time I remember hand cream.

^ and one next to your bed also. Just have them everywhere.

Also, use rubber gloves whenever you do an ounce of cleaning. Especially washing up.

And use hand soap in a bar, and not liquid soap or sanitiser, if you can.

There is only one thing, and one thing alone, that naturally lightens dark spots on the hands and improve texture, and that is an ingredient called 4% hydroquinone. The downside is that it is on prescription only. However, this is for a reason it is a strong treatment that must be administered by someone who knows what they're doing. It is in Obagi Blender and it's not cheap. See the link: www.obagi.com/obagirx/obagi-nu-derm-blender-rx Don't forget that it took years and years and years to get those aged looking hands so you've got to be looking at least 3 to 6 months to see improvement. I have been using it for the last year and simply cannot believe the difference. It has reduced the darkness of my brown spot and taken 30 years off my hands.
