Sabotaging clothes with poor underwear

This keeps happening to me. I buy a nice dress which fits me well but my underwear is so obvious underneath it and that doesn't work for me as I prefer a more modest look. Example of a dress I've recently bought which turned out to be shockingly thin.

I'd appreciate any suggestions for your go to slips/camis etc as nude coloured underwear just isn't cutting it.

Another vote for the M&S ones, especially those cool tech ones. They seem to make clothes more comfortable as well as hang better!
I get the camisole ones for work because I have a couple of work shirts that are see through. (So annoying)

I’m early thirties and have never considered wearing a slip but thinking maybe I should? How does it make stuff hang better? Maybe I need to give it a go 🤔

I can't imagine not wearing a slip under an unlined dress. Dresses definitely hang better with a slip.

M&S do great slips - full length and half slips in various different lengths.

Seconded, thirded, fourthed.
