I don't understand the question. Do I have other items of clothing/bags of a similar type in my wardrobe. I mean I wouldn't get rid of any unless they didn't fit me or I didn't like them anymore.

Well they are weirdly broad categories.
So if i get rid of tops. Am i going to walk aroud with bra on show forever more?

I mean from that list I would say the Mango top because you probably have loads of tops and it is one of the cheaper items on your list.

The OP is asking which single item of those categories you would pick if you could only have one of that category.

I'd keep the coat, assuming you like it, because you can wear any old shit underneath it and still look ok.

Cross body bag- Longchamp Energy small: love it so much!

Pair of jeans- Ancient pair of 7 for all Mankind, heavily reduced - straight, blue, roll up

Skirt - Calvin Klein knitted tube thing

Top- black floral pussy bow blouse - old M&S

Jumper- black roll neck merino M&S

Coat- can't choose one, but if I have to I'll keep my ancient black Oasis biker

Dress- struggling to choose one, but on today's feelings, I'll go for my silk mix All Saints maxi - very hippy and a bit witchy, but I love the print so much

Tote bag - customised Longchamp le Pliage

Cross body bag- any of my Radley pocket bags

Pair of jeans- I don't own any jeans. I'll take another dress.

Skirt - I own very few skirts, I'll take another dress

Top- Pazuki silk pussy tie bow with actual cats

Jumper-I don't own any, only cardigans one of my Palava heritage knitwear cardigans

Coat- either a just below knee length 1960s black cashmere coat with a fur collar or a very dramatic long black 1980s Laura Ashley riding coat.

Dress- either 3 of my OTT floral Eponine dresses or a black and white flannel Cabbages and Roses dress with black velvet collar and trim or a green lace made to measure Edina Ronay dress.

Well I wouldn't keep a tote at all as they wrecked my back. And I got bored with dresses so they're out too.
Cross body bag - the one I bought in a market in Rome years ago.

Jeans - Jil Sander for Uniqlo.

Skirt - I'll have to come back to that, not worn them in years but just getting interested again.

Top - silk shirt, no particular brand.

Jumper - currently a men's St Michael/M&S lambs wool V neck.

Coat - vintage Harris tweed although I might give a different answer come the spring.

@NatashaDancing @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie I love pussy bow blouses too and have be. Lucky enough to pick them up in charity shops for really good prices including the silk one I am wearing from Warehouse.

If so

Tote bag - none, I don't own a tote really.

Cross body bag - same - I wear all my bags on my shoulder or carry in my hand. I don't wear any cross-body.

Jeans -

Tote - I'd cheat here and have my trusty Gucci backpack with a cotton tote inside
Cross body bag - my chanel 2:55 (can you tell I am a bag addict)
Jeans : vintage boyfriend from Sainsburys - they suit me so well I'm terrified of when I need to replace them
Skirt : I don't wear skirts at all so I will choose my very soft comfy jersey harem trousers instead
Top: breton long sleeve relaxed fit
Jumper: my oversized chunky roll neck from The White Company
Coat: customised fishtail parka
Dress : very simple 60s style black turtleneck dress
