I have been using the Aldi ones for the last year but they are no longer on sale ( the jelly one and the vitamin c one- both dupes) They are great to use in the the shower with a micro fibre cloth. (Both around £3)

Can anyone recommends similar roaming cleanser for use in the shower under £10 for dry sensitive skin?

If I had dry sensitive skin I wouldn't be using a foaming cleanser nor would I be washing my face in the shower. Would you be open to other suggestions?

I like the Simple one.

Sometimes the pumps are dodgy though.

Cerave hydrating and make sure the water isn't too hot!

Cerave best cheaper one i have found. There are different options for different skin types

That's interesting, I have sensitive skin and do this. Why is it bad?

I’ve just run out of the Aldi hot cloth cleanser and I’ve now switched to Superdrug’s Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser which I have found is better than the Aldi one. My skin becomes more dry in the winter and it feels really good.

you can buy the Aldi ones off their website. I like the original hot cloth one (minty one) and bought 3 recently they are on sale for £1.99 but postage is £3 I think. So had to make it worth while!

Superdrug have this one - www.superdrug.com/skin/face-skin-care/cleansers/cleansing-mousse-foams/superdrug-naturally-radiant-complete-cleanser-150ml/p/531416

But like pp said, foaming cleansers are drying so I’d avoid if you already have dry skin! A balm/oil or creamy cleanser would be better.

Aveeno calm & restore oat cleanser - it’s amazing x

It's supposed to be drying therefore I double cleanse using a balm to take make up off then a gentle cleanser like cerave. Water temperatures in the shower are too hot for the face.

Peridot1 · 29/01/2023 22:39

A foaming cleanser that foams from the pump is usually ok. Curel do one which is nice. Available at Boots. I have to order as my local one doesn’t stock it.

washing your face in the shower isn’t great as the temperature can be too high. I do wash my face in the shower but don’t have the water too hot.
