Extremely dehydrated skin

I had a severe allergic reaction to something in my face and it was really swollen and red for a week. It's now back to normal but super super dehydrated. Any recommendations for creams to rehydrate it would be appreciated

Definitely something with ceramides in it and minimal perfume. Cerave moisturising cream. Layer it. So numerous thin layers to keep it soothed. Avoid any serums or moisturisers that claim to do anything other than moisturise!

I know it's gonna sound weird, but what about pure lard?

UnfinishedBusiness · 28/01/2023 09:57

I like cerave too. The one for dry to very dry skin.

LRP cicaplast balm

You need pure oils and no fragrance. Try nipple balm.

You can also try Sudocream.

I have rosacea and recently bought Dr Jart Tiger grass Cicapair face mist and creams, it really hydrates my face without being greasy, plus it calms my skin down.
I had mine from look fantastic, it was on offer plus an extra 10% off.

Any Cica cream, or LRP Toleriane.

Epionce medical barrier cream! I own a skin clinic and use this on clients who have bad eczema flare ups/super dehydrated skin/inflamed skin barriers etc

Here's the link

There's no sensitisers or preservatives in it so will be great to hydrate post a reaction
