Had anyone used her products?
What is all the hype about with the Magic Cream?

I use them. I like her eyeshadows, her bronzer and her lipliners the most. I personally don't get on with her creams, they break me out for some reason but I have very sensitive skin.

Iwritethissittinginthekitchensink · 22/01/2023 09:28

I’ve only had samples of the magic cream and a serum but I didn’t like them. Just didn’t feel like they soaked in well or had a nice finish.

The foundations and eye shadows and bronzer powder are great though. I had a makeover at their counter one morning and it stayed perfect til the evening. My foundation isn’t doing it for me anymore so I’m going to switch to CT.

RicciardoPerez · 22/01/2023 09:29

With PP, I found magic cream to break me out. The night cream was also a thick sticky layer on my skin which wasn't pleasant. Her skincare range of creams and serums aren't good at all.

Her lipsticks and bronzers are fab! The mascaras smudge and her foundations are just ok.

I absolutely love her 2 step cleansing ritual set though.

Everything else is just good marketing. It's not worth the price imo

Bellalalala · 22/01/2023 09:31

I really like the eyeshadows and eyeliners.

The magic cream, for me was rubbish. Expensive and didn’t really make my skin feel any better that the lacura one from Aldi. Make up didn’t set any better either.

It’s been year since I tried the foundation. I can’t remember what I thought of it, but I didn’t rebuy it so it can’t have been great.

Vegetablesupreme · 22/01/2023 09:33

Couldn't get on with the magic cream...used to pil off terribly when tried to use my foundation on top. Find her products mostly style over substance. They're packaged beautifully but for the price are very mediocre.

rc22 · 22/01/2023 10:00

Pillowtalk lip stick is a lovely colour but absolutely no staying power!!

Rassy · 22/01/2023 10:04

I really like her lipsticks Smile

Floraflower3 · 22/01/2023 10:08

I love her swish and pop blushers and airbrush flawless finish powder.

bananaboats · 22/01/2023 10:13

I love the lipsticks and foundation but haven't been impressed with any powder products I've tried. I've tried a sample of the magic cream but didn't really see much effect so I've never purchased.

StarsSand · 22/01/2023 10:14

Gosh I hate her lipsticks. They were so hyped I was so excited to buy them.

I find them really drying, and they wear off so quickly.

I like the tones- and maybeline has some good dupes that I find longer lasting and more moisturising.

Mercurial123 · 22/01/2023 10:31

Love the lipsticks especially Bond Girl and Amazing Grace. I find them long lasting. Also, the eyeshadow pots in Beige and Pillow Talk.

brownbeauty80 · 22/01/2023 11:13

I just got a set of the skin recovery kit so will try that from tonight
It has an ice eye roller a skin elixir and the famous magic cream
Will post again in a few days to update

I find it very hit and miss. Packaging is beautiful - I am a sucker for packaging - but only some it has decent staying power.

PinkFrogss · 22/01/2023 11:36

I like their magic cream, but then I have very dry skin and can see why it might be too heavy for others.

Not a fan of their mascaras, I find that the black always goes under my eyes and mascara is something there’s so many good cheap options for anyway so not worth paying a premium for.

Love their powder blushers, bronzers, and eye shadows. I know their cream wand style products are popular but I found them difficult to apply and felt I was wasting product in the sponge. I’m planning on getting their new highlighter on payday.

Ive heard good things about their flawless filter and foundation but haven’t tried it as there’s not one near me and for that price I’d certainly want to be shade matched.

Tiffan · 22/01/2023 13:48

Magic cream is massively over hyped. I ended up using it on my legs. It's v greasy but also doesn't hydrate v well. For the price you can get much better products.

It's excellent marketing but I think all brands have stand out products rather than everything being perfect. For me, the stand outs are the cheek sticks. I have a few lipsticks as well but I prefer Chanel.

Annabel073 · 22/01/2023 14:01

I love magic cream. It makes my skin look plump and dewy. I agree that pilling can be a problem when used with some products though.

AlaskaThunderfuckHiiiiiiiii · 22/01/2023 15:33

Another vote for magic cream, I have normal/combination skin and I just love this. Have tried others when it’s ran out as it is pricey but they just aren’t the same. It makes my skin dewy and looks lovely under foundation.

also a fan of the lipsticks

RoxieLoxy · 22/01/2023 16:03

The pillow talk lip liner is very long lasting and a lovely colour.

I like the pillow talk eye liner too - it's a lovely burgundy colour.

Pillow talk eye shadows also lovely. And the blusher.

Oh and the filmstar bronze and glow is fab.

pocketvenuss · 22/01/2023 16:30

It's not 'her' lipstick or foundation. She sold in 2021 and only works as a consultant to them now if at all

LadyOfTheCanyon · 22/01/2023 17:09

I like the Magic cream but I have dry skin so it sinks in nicely. I find it very comforting. It's probably the only repeat purchase I would make.

The make up is so- so in my opinion. The packaging is lovely but the products are no better or worse than any mid range drugstore stuff. Even the Hollywood Flawless filter which I swore by has virtually identical versions for under a tenner on the High st so I won't bother repurchasing that.

The pots of cream eyeshadow are nice but I dont rate the mascaras, eyeliners or palette shadows at all.

extrasushiplease · 22/01/2023 17:57

I love her cream eyeshadow, the lipstick and liner are quite nice (but ones of the same quality can be found for cheaper, especially the liner) and the eye pencil liner is fine but, again, it's on the quality level just above drugstore for me so not worth shelling out on IMO. I'd definitely get a sample of her skincare before buying as it seems to be more polarizing than most brands. I've tried her eye cream and deemed it "fine" but I wouldn't buy the full size.

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 22/01/2023 18:01

isn't it funny that British people now talk about 'drugstores'?

heartbeatacrossthegrass · 22/01/2023 18:29

I find it a bit over hyped by the likes of Sali Hughes, India Knight et al.

Having said that, Hollywood Flawless Filter is a terrific product.

I know. I do it because it's become a recognised term. Saying "chemist" feels all kinds of wrong.

Get yourself a bottle of Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish from Collection at £6.99 and thank me later.

There's an e.l.f dupe as well which I haven't tried but will when my collection bottle runs out. Heard good things about that too, plus e.l.f is vegan.
