Shoes needed to go with a dress

this is the dress

I'm attending my brothers wedding soon and needs footwear. Problem is - the area his wedding is in is old cobbled streets (abroad), hilly etc. So they need to be low heeled. Problem is in also short so feel odd in flats.

I have no preference on colour at all, font have the bag yet so I will just get something after I get the right shoes.

Preferably under £100.

Bonus points if they would likely suit being worn on the evenings of the rest of the holiday to reduce packing load!

@Mydogatemypurse "Lovely but too casual for that dress. They don't go."

Phew ! I thought it was just me.

Ok what about something like this?

I absoloutley cannot stretch to this price, so looking for a sub £100 fairly low heeled platform gold sandal with a strap that goes over the top of the foot rather than circular around the ankle if that makes sense.

Not platform tho.

I’d try a low wedge like these ones. I find them easier than heels on uneven ground.

the "third one down" black strappy so far win my vote.
to me black is the way to go, i'm just not loving the silver or gold contrast.

Two part sandals are obviously very practical, one for each foot, but these are ugly.

Justbefair · 04/02/2023 19:35

Block heel? I got a gorgeous sparkly pair from matalan which look dressy but are so comfortable and practical. I've walked on cobbles and in snow in them, with a weak ankle they have been brilliant! X

these are all non ankle strap gold sandals similar to the anthro ones ….
