Dry hair..olaplex is making it worse?

It is entirely possible it is all a coincidence but.. It feels like my hair got so much worse since I started olaplex. I did a couple of salon treatments, at home I am doing N8 once a week + olaplex oil. My hair is soo dry and breaking. How is it possible?
Hair is very fine but there are a lot of them. Coloured by a hair dresser from dark blonde to 2 shades lighter blonde. No bleach. 2 c curls, very frizzy . They were always on a dry side and my hairdresser strongly recommended olaplex and it feels it is now worse than before. Is it some sort of purge before it gets better?
I would love any hair product recommendations for a very dry hair. Happy to throw money on it

ive used it for a few weeks now. Not noticed any difference at all to my hair.

olaplex should only be used once a month. Everyone seems to slapping it on and over proteining their hair

Sorry I meant I’ve used the living proof product without seeing any difference

Amla oil is without a doubt the best thing I've ever put on my hair. Cheap as chips and makes it feel like spun silk but...the smell is truly awful and lingers too.

Liz Earle has transformed my hair

Agree. My daughter uses this (hair almost knee length), and I can say that it keeps the ends in great condition, though it does reek throughout the house.

She just uses it as a pre wash oil, an hour or so before washing. Is that what you do?

Yeah, I just wack it on when I'm not going anywhere or doing anything. I can't bear the smell, so I rarely use it but it really does transform your hair like nothing else.

I find Olaplex 3 to be fantastic if only used every 5 weeks or so. Kerastase and Phillip Kingsley in the weeks in between. Also Pantene classic conditioner. Have highlights in wavy hair.

Although the vivid purple kerastase treatment for blonde hair wrecked my hair’s condition.

Yep, I used a cheap purple intensive conditioner. Completely messed up my hair. Really dried it out.

Oh yes olaplex turned my hair brassy! I had no colour on it before. Noticed the first time I used it. I was flogged it at the salon.
