What would you wear on your bottom half with this top?

I love vintage looks but only a quiet nod rather than full on vintage outfit.

I've just bought this blouse which I love. What kind of trousers would you wear? Would black slim trousers or even slim/skinny jeans work?

I fell for their rust trousers but felt the top was safer for now while I decide what to wear it with and where to wear it 😂❤️

I’m team wide legged trousers. As a PP said: the thirties vibe. Maybe a bit early seventies Biba-ish too. Skinny jeans will look yawn with it.

I have responded upthread. I think the diversity of responses (I'm more at home in a skirt than trousers) shows our own styles and that the top would go with many different things.

High waisted, wide trousers, to complete the 1930s ish look.

That blouse is lovely OP! I think it would be easier to list what I wouldn't wear it with lol.

From what I have in my wardrobe at the moment I would go with.

Dark Denim bootcut jeans
Black slim fit jeans
Black and white polkadot midi skirt.
Dark wash denim skirt
Black A line skirt (it would look great with a pencil skirt but I don't have the figure for them)
Navy blue long skirt with thigh split
Navy Chinos

I was going to say I wouldn't wear it with by khaki combats but I have a pair of 'smart' Mint Velvet combats that I think would actually go quite well!

I really want the blouse now :\
