Five tops for wearing with Jeans?

Can anyone suggest any? I buy new ones and then after a month or two they have washed badly and i'm back to wearing my gap t-shirts again. ~I also need a couple of 'going out' tops. Not to dressy just dinner at friends or the pub?

Thanks Califrau! I don't mind being ignored A part of me thinks there is no answer. Gap t-shirts seem to be the only tops to stand up to my constant wear/wash treatment!

You might not look like your mum but I think you'd look a bit like a sailor. But I don't do stripes. It might look fab on you.

Don't know where you buy clothes in the UK these days. Am out of touch.

I have a lot of success with M&S - try Limited Collection first as usually has the best stuff. Or [whispers] Boden?

I just read sailor stipes are in this year overrated, but I can't bring myself to buy it!!
Sparkle, i'll look at m&s. I looked at boden but could find anything I liked.

Oh Fat Face also sometimes okay - tend to go for their more tailored shirts rather than t-shirts tho - and White Stuff although find it a tad pricey.
