Can you get your nails done with a fungal nail infection?

Just that.

I'd like to get my nails done but I've had a fungal nail infection on my little finger for years. I cannot get rid of it. It isn't flaky or anything. It's just brittle and half my nail is white.

Have you tried the nail lacquer? Fingernails are generally easier to treat than toes as they’re thinner.

I've seen 4 GP's and had tablets before, again this week, and my fungal toe infection just won't go away. Not everyone's is so easy to get rid of!

You could at most of the cheaper high street salons, they're so unhygienic.

No of course not. Go to your GP who will be able to give you a prescription.

Interesting. I don't think mine onycholisis - it doesn't look so smooth as that and the nail shows no sign of detaching. There's no chance of seeing a GP here so I guess I'll just keep painting over it and hope for the best!

What tablets did you have?

Have you asked a pharmacist for advice?
