Evans shoes are well wearing. Have bought a sale pair from there once. I am tall and weigh a ton and stamp all my shoe heels to death, Evans are a lot better lasting.

They are not that pretty, though, a load of old frump shoes.

Can she not wear flats? Would rather wear ballet shoes than shitty kitten heels.

CaptainCod · 04/02/2008 18:42

GetOrfMoiLand · 04/02/2008 18:46

thought chickpea was a poncey colour name for beige

CaptainCod · 04/02/2008 18:46

deaconblue · 05/02/2008 13:16

can't do flats either because of cankles. Am beginning to think maybe will need to wear trousers as tried on gorgeous dress lent to me by Tutter in M and S today with nice jacket and was horrified by mammoth calf and ankle width. Only have 3/4 mirror at home so hadn't noticed how bad the spread was

Tutter · 05/02/2008 13:20

no no no that dress cannot be worn with flats

heeled boots acceptable

i wore it with boots to Very Posh Restaurant

as long as jazzed up with exciting necklace/scarf will be fine

CaptainCod · 05/02/2008 13:21

tell her tutt

there are some great boot bargains to be had atm

what size are you?

ahundredtimes · 05/02/2008 13:21

Are these too high? I think they'd be flattering.

Tutter · 05/02/2008 13:22

for example

hang on will se if i can find any for the - ahem - wider calf

NoNickname · 05/02/2008 13:23

Wide fit shoes here

Tutter · 05/02/2008 13:27

ok i wouldn't normally advise plastic boots, but if they're for one wear only then something like these

duo boots have some lovely ones - but am guessing you don't want to fork out £100+

Tutter · 05/02/2008 13:28

another pair - in black - at viva la diva

fishie · 05/02/2008 13:29

how about a visit to tk maxx?

CaptainCod · 05/02/2008 13:29
