Hair help! Wavy/curly hair product help

My hair was always straight, I could blast my very long/ thick hair upside down for 5 mins and it would dry beautifully.

Then I had my daughter 8 years ago and half of my hair went wavy/curly, now most of it bar the very front on either side is at least wavy.

My problems is I don't know how to make it look nice. I have tried some products applied wet and it keeps the wave but is still massively frizzy and my hair is so thick it just ends up a tangled mess pretty quick. So please recommend some help!

Would a diffuser work? I've never had one. What's the best gel/hair product to really exchange the waves and get rid of frizz.

I pretty much have my hair up now unless blow dryed straight by a hairdresser.

There’s a great group on facebook ‘Curly Girl for UK Wavies’. There’s loads of advice on there and recommended products

Look at soap for little suds, there's an advice group on fb. I use her products for my 2 boys with curls, but there have been pics of ladies using the products on their hair with amazing results! My 2 year old gets comments on his hair whenever we go out! The products smell amazing and last ages too cos you need so little of them

Try the JVN range from spacenk. When my hair grew back after my hair thinned following surgery it was ultra curly (use to always be wavy) and this range has made me fall back in love with my hair.

Two curly girls in our house. Try not to wash too often, and never use any product with silicone in. We use this stuff and follow the curly girl method. imbuecurls.co.uk
The other stuff which is lovely to use is a company called Only Curls but it's quite pricey.
If you can find a good curly hairdresser a good cut can make all the difference too
