Yes I agree with cod, they can be high waisted but not in a good way. try the Limited Edition.

I usually find they are too big at the waist for me (I probably also have an hourglass figure but the bottom half only!) so don't know that they would suit you - but it is probably worth going and trying some on from the different ranges. I think there was a Per Una pair I almost bought before Christmas which didn't fit as badly as usual so maybe try there first?

I bought a really cheapo pair (£9 from there a while ago and they are cut hideously. Guess the more expensive ones will be better. The good thing is that they do have length variations.

I bought the Per Una ones at pretty much the same post-pregnancy stage - and they're still going strong now .

I found the higher-waisted ones (red stitching) better at first for stomach coverage, and the the hipster-ish ones - pink stitching - better later on.
