Something to brighten my skin

I finished chemo a few weeks ago, and i have a good skin care routine, very happy with the products I use. However I need something to give me a bit of a glow - not oils or serums etc as already use them- I don't wear alot of make up at all, maybe some tinted moisturiser occasionally, wondered if anyone could recommend something to brighten me up a little ! Thanks in advance.

I swear by Ebrorian CC in clair. It's my skin but brighter!

Hope you're feeling well, OP.

Was going to suggest the same!

Hope your op goes well. I had chemo and the same op a few years ago.

I'd also say take it easy but also understand it's nice to start feeling good about your appearance again. Is second all the body shop vit c range. Daffodil

Ah thank you. I hope you're well? Don't worry I am taking it easy, but yes, I just want to try and feel better about myself. 🙂

I'm looking forward to trying it when it arrives today - ordered it yesterday 🙂 thank you, I am feeling much better than I was, was so so fatigued during chemo and haven't had any since 12 th December so feeling more myself, even though I'm not quite up to par yet. X

I find a very light self tan such as Garnier Summer Body (the light one, not the dark - there are two) works wonders.

No7 airbrush away primer!
I use that after protect and perfect day cream and honestly it makes you really glow.
Hope you are feeling OK op!

Doctor daveys vitamin c is great, use it every morning you will definitely see a difference immediately!

Still experimenting with skincare myself, tbh, but on the make-up front, I find Glossier hydrating serum mixed with NARS Radiant tinted moisturiser comes up well. And Glossier cream blusher in Cloud is easy to blend and use on temples, cheeks, lips, bridge of nose for subtle perkiness.

Obv with chemo you'll need to be careful so might not be appropriate but Clarins Beauty Flash Balm perks things up. Used after being cleansed and moisturised etc x

Hope you are feeling well💐 I love Eborian cc cream. It just gives you good skin, light and easy to apply. Wishing you all the best!

@Chocolateismyfavourite Hi OP how are you? Did you find anything that worked for your skin?

Chocolateismyfavourite · 21/01/2023 07:33

Hi, yes I ordered and have been using the ebrorian as suggested in here. It is really lovely and works. I have made a note of all the other suggestions on here to try as well.

While I was having chemo, I had been using skin care by Jenny Love, Defiant Beauty, I am still using it now . Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
