Is it worth the price? I have dry skin and usually use elemis products but I'm no longer seeing any results and want to try something else

@Shoes232 was there a particular product you were considering? Their best known product is their vitamin C but Geek & Gorgeous C-glow is just as good for a fraction of the price. I imagine this is the case for some of their other products.

Brands like Elemis can feel nice to use and smell nice but aren’t great if you have a particular skin concern.

Yes it is. Their patent on putting vitamin C with ferulic acid ran out though. So that's why now you can get alternatives.
If you can afford it I'd start off with 1 bottle of the real deal.
Then move on to balance active formula vitamin C serum. HUGE price difference

As above, initially they were the first company to use certain combinations of ingredients. Now they aren't.
In any case, what are you looking for? Which Elemis products are you looking to swap? As pp said, Elemis isn't particularly known for products with actives (vitamin C/retinols- which really are two of the only ingredients that are scientifically proven to make a difference)
Tbh, for skincare, you need to look at active ingredients and percentages of active ingredient rather than brands/prices.

I have dry skin and certainly never found Marine Cream enough. (if that's what you use) Love the smell but always wondered how Elemis got away with calling it a "cream" when it's really quite a thin consistency. Doesn't stop me buying it when it's dirt cheap just for the lovely smell though!

I think they are. The vit c stuff was far better than any dupes I tried, although haven’t tried others since patent run out. Their retinol is v good too.

However, if you have dry skin there are lots of other skin care products I would invest in to address that that cost far less ££. Nourishing facial oils, good hyaluronic acid products, and Vaseline for night mask to seal in moisture.

I now use skin and me to address aging concerns.

SC is very good quality, especially serums. Also love the SPF with tranexamic acid.
