Alternative to Hype for 13yo?

I am struggling with finding clothes that DS feels are his 'look' - which is basically colourful tops and fairly plain bottoms - and he's rapidly growing out of his current wardrobe!
He doesn't generally like anything with a logo, but he does have a couple of Hype hoodies & tracksuit bottom (black with a colourful strip) that he likes.
Thing is he's actually 5'9" now so their size 15/16 and they never seem to have any of the stuff he likes in his size - plus the rate he's growing I'm not sure how much longer their kids stuff will fit him.
I've found him a few tie die tshirts he likes at second hand shops & got lucky with a random oversized hoodie at primark in the summer, but coukd really do with some suggestions!

Lol, guess it was a bit of a stretch putting this in 'style' & beauty..

How about some plain white cotton t shirts (fruit of the loom - Amazon) and a tie dye kit. This is what I got my 13 yr old as a gift.
Not sure exactly what look your son likes but I got a great tie dye hoody in next (sizes seem generous) and got him a few men's small hoodies in H&M. It is very much luck though as to what is in at any given time. Unfortunately so much is sludge coloured, esp the winter season. I just have to keep an eye open for bright blue or turquoise things for mine as that's the colour he loves.
Next currently have a very lurid drip pattern onesie which goes up to age 16 if that's something he'd want!
Amazon also have lots of random patterned tops. Never bought any so can't comment on quality (and likely to vary by seller) but might throw something a bit more interesting up than the high street.

Funnily enough, I got him a tie die kit last Xmas which he did use 😁
You are spot on with the sludge colour description, once you get out of kids (say up to 12-14) ranges, the colour generally leeches out of boys/mens clothes unless you go super designer expensive or randomly stumble across something.
Amazon sounds promising, I hadn't considered that. Not my first choice to buy from, but needs must!

Would he wear womens clothes - with the labels cut out if necessary? Lots of shops might have plain brighter coloured hoodies

Just thinking how I got round dressing my DS who only wanted brights when none were available, though he is younger and doesn't really care yet

Or how about surf/skateboard brands - billabong, DC, ocean Pacific may have brighter colours in his size.

H&M mens dept maybe, M&S mens dept had a few brighter than normal items in this week
